Can anyone tell me where QM2 will be from Sept.13 2015 in Hamburg until Sept.18 in Hamburg? I somehow can't find any sailings or dry dock info.

I believe taxes are added if you purchase before entering international waters.
-
OOps - sorry.
-
It did say to use your impression or your perceived impression of the cruise line. (what you have heard)

If you do a westbound, your shipboard time will be 10 hours more than an eastbound.

Give me an idea of the various human races.
Or, better not.
FYI - http://www.answers.com/Q/What_are_the_different_human_races

No human apparently checks the booking engine for Cunard. For M424, the 12-day Canadian voyage from New York. Balcony reads $3,598 and Club Balcony $3499.
A web vacation site has balcony or suite for $2899. (inside $799) It seems most sites have inaccuracies.

" I know they say the deck plans are not-to-scale, but it does appear at least, that the foremost four outsides on decks 4 and 5 are marginally smaller than the other's...
Those cabins are very large (having seen them) & deck 6 cabins 26 to 47 are the same.

Shawnino, We sailed into Halifax last year on probably the most perfect day imaginable.....after several foggy ports. What a pleasure to walk that beautiful boardwalk. We are hoping to do the Canada/NE trip again this year.
My husband, on an 18 day TA to Southampton, and back to NY on the QM2, had a severe leg issue....he couldn't wear his normal shoes and finally it came down to just wearing sandals....and people would understand. As has been said, footwear is what you need it to be. Period. Enhancing our best quailities is what we all do. Nice people to meet on board is a given and you will enjoy your trip just as we have every time.
Have fun planning. :)
Sorry, I forgot to sign in. Brigittetom

If it's any consolation, we have 7392 & 9392 booked for an 18 day back to back in 11 days and I just got out of the hospital today from a foot injury.

Bring comfortable walking shoes. You are about as you can get from any bar or lounge. It's 1/3 of the length of the ship to the nearest bank of elevators, then up to the pool bar ( deck 11) or down to deck 5 with a similar walk to the nearest watering hole.

It seems like the administrations' policy of " make every interaction with us is as painful as possible until we get our way" is still in effecty. :(
-
There is now a charge ( I believe 3 % ), as too many passengers in the past did exactly as you are proposing (some to the tune of 10s of thousands of dollars).
But it is processed as a purchase.

Not yet they haven't but the bill to legalize it is in the works.
Given the political history of Rhode Island, I'm sure it will pass and then more people will believe they can sail for $14 per day.:D
-
" less than a $100 dollars for the week"
$14 per day for a cruise?
-
It is amazing the difference in pricing when you're desperate for customers. Independence sails from the same port, on a better ship, for the same amount of days for less than a $100 dollars for the week. Who told you Royal was sailing less than full? LMAO! :D:D:D
Less than $100 for a week on RCL? Did Rhode Island legalize pot recently?
Also, dealer said he/she will be sailing solo. Single supplement?

I haven't witnessed any conviviality (or patrons for that matter) since they banned smoking at the casino bar. ;):)

These days my "courage" consists of deciding whether or not to eat the curry in the Britannia dining room! I am a veritable coward when it comes to eating my Southern son in law's favourite food -"Grits"!
You can practice by buying a box of "Grits", dumping said "grits" in the garbage and adding cinnamon and butter to the shredded box.

Another fun thing to do regarding the Auto-tip:
See what happens when you go to the Pursers Desk to request that any unboard credit not used by the end of your voyage be applied to the Hotel and Dining Charge.
And yes, before anyone responds that there is no reason not to spend all your on board credit, unfortunately, it does happen.
Our hotel & dining charge has always been deducted automatically from OBC.
Brigitte can always find a way to spend remaining OBC. :D

Just for old times sake - Brigitte and I are still around and doing well.

Actually, yes. that's exactly what it means. Who Knew.

I suppose that the desired table is desirable by virtue of some perceived benefit of position or other, quiet, seaview, whatever. What then if it already has its complement of diners? Does someone get thrown off this desirable table because someone has paid a bribe to get on it?

Actually yes. If someone books Brittania. they are obviously in line for a Princess Upgrade. It's part of the process.
QM2 schedule gap?

Thanks for the prompt answer. We are contemplating the two TAs with 5 days in Germany and couldn't figure out where she would be in the interim.
