Really enjoyed reading your unbiased review. So sorry to hear about the noise in your cabin ... I always make sure there are only other cabins both above and below us at time of booking. Have heard too many such complaints, but at least you made the best of it. Everything else sounds like you had a wonderful cruise with your group of friends.
Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts with the rest of us CC'ers.

Hey kikki
Love your food photos taken at ad hoc. Looks like a wonderful meal. Glad you and your fiance were able to enjoy a very special engagement dinner. Really enjoying your entire review. DH and I would love to go back to Rome for a week or two ... way to much to see and do there. Thanks for sharing.

So happy to hear that your flight was able to take off after all that snow you got. I know you were quite worried for a while. Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip and your review is off to a good start. Can't wait to read the rest and look forward to seeing your photographs. Good luck going through them all and sorting out the best.

... and we did find end of February, first week of March a bit on the cool side. There were a few days we did not require jackets. In spite of that, I'd still rather do this itinerary off-season rather than the summer. At least the tourist areas were not too congested.
Happy Sailing ...

for sharing your adventure. Loved reading your review and your pictures were gorgeous. Your son looked like he was having an awesome time. I noticed your son's jacket logo said Welland Football. We currently live in the Kansas City area but are from Grimsby, Ontario. Still go back to visit family several times a year.
Thanks again for your wonderful review.

What a joy it was to read this combined effort review. All families had a little different story to tell yet it all came together as a beautiful family cruise. Stories told and pictures posted were a treat. Thanks for sharing your beautiful experience with your fellow CC'rs.

Thank you for writing this review.
We did enjoy Patti & Jose, but not Greg London.
Loved them on the Dream years ago and more recently on the Dawn. They are wonderful. Love how well Jose does Neil Diamond as well as Johnny Cash.
Thanks for your review ... glad you enjoyed the food.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures and your Haven experience with those of us who will likely never see the inside of a villa. They really are beautiful.

This will be my first cruise that embarks from a foreign port. Can anyone tell me if international services fees apply (if you have a CC that charges these fees) if your NCL cruise embarks and disembarks out of a foreign port? Thanks

For your wonderful "live" reports from the Ryndam. I looked forward to reading them every day. Thank you also for taking the time to scan and post your daily programs. I'm sure anyone with an upcoming Ryndam cruise will find these very helpful.

I know Sitmar has been mentioned several times, but Fairwind in 1974 and Fairsea in 1975. What a class act .....
Copper you have done a fantastic job pulling data and photos of some of these "older" ships. In those days it was all about class and service. One of the things I loved about Sitmar and probably other lines in those days was paying a small fee to have your deck chair reserved with your name on it ... no chair hogs back then. I remember we paid $8 for each deck chair for a 7-day cruise. Ahhh, fond memories.
Thanks for this thread and all the work that has gone into it.
Enjoy your cruise ........

OMG, what an amazing review so far. The detail and work you put into this is overwhelming to me. The amount of research and planning you do pre-cruise is also amazing. I think you need to go into business as a "personal cruise planner". You would never be short of work.
Congrats on a beautiful review ... looking forward to more.
