I received the exact same email on 9/6. The heading clearly references our sailing on 9/14/23:

No, read post #204.
Post 204 is referring to cruises starting in Australia. It's my understanding we still need a negative test results if you are leaving from Seattle.
-
Is there any COVID testing required to get the the ship in Seattle? Thanks

hi susan and frank
you live in a beautiful area.
We live in los altos.
Have also decided to do carnivals underground river tour too.hoping to meet up with you soon.
We have booked the underground river with Carnival because of warning from from the State Dept. and not from a tour company off the net. Did you book with Carnival too? Frank and Sarah

I also wondered that.. and if I have to get a booster as I already had 2 shots.. just not a recent booster
I don't think you are fully vaccinated. I have had 5 injection including 2 boosters and getting a 3rd booster on Wednesday for the new variance.

We’ve used Tours by Locals and they’ve been great. We are also doing B2B to B2B to B2B2 and then switching to Splendor for 3 more.
When I starting looking, I will get back to you. Safe travels and Thanks, Frank and Sarah - SF, CA

Rick1951 - You are the first to show any interest - Currently I an starting a road trip to Texas and back to California to babysit some grandchildren, with a flight to Milwaukee to attend a grandson graduation during that time. I am considering using Sandra O'Leary for some tours and one with with Carnival to the Onsen in Aomori. We are onboard from Sept. 13 to Oct. 29 (B2B-B2B -B2B. Have done nothing regarding GBR or the next cruise. Safe travels, Frank and Sarah

If you have two nights and aren't leaving at the crack of dawn, I have learnt it is best to stay in centre of the city rather than near the airport, or port.
In Brisbane, I'd choose on the Brisbane River near the Botanical Gardens or at Southbank. Both are beautiful areas to walk around in the cool of the day. I usually take visitors to Roma Street Parklands, which has beautiful gardens as well as accommodation.
Southbank has live theatres, museums and art galleries.as well as lots of cafes and a big swimming lagoon.
Do have the name of a hotel in that area and how easy is to get there from the port and then back to airport? Your help is greatly appreciated, Frank and Sarah - SF, CA

I dont think they turn away anyone dressed in jeans and T shirts even on formal nights. They would probably turn away bathing suits.
Thanks, just got off TA on the Pride and dress code was not enforced - can adjust my packing accordingly --Safe travels
-
Is Carnival enforcing the dress code for dinner? Thanks - trying to determine packing needs
