There is one other benefit to AQ which has not been mentioned, but is a plus for me. AQ limits you to 2 passengers per cabin, which means that Blu and the cabins surrounding yours are less likely to have children. I have nothing against kids, but I have a very stressful job and book cruises to relax and decompress. By booking AQ, it increases my odds of having a quieter, more adult-oriented environment while on board a large ship.

Based on posts on other threads, it appears that you cannot book privately with this company if you are a cruise passenger.

Glad to read this review! We're elite on Celebrity, and haven't been on Princess in at least 20 years, but just booked a Panama Canal trip on Coral for January!

A partial Panama Canal transit similar to Princess's. We're elite on Celebrity, but are jumping ship to Princess for this itinerary because we don't have the time to take a full canal transit. We like to take a cruise every January, and are getting bored with the Celebrity Caribbean itineraries.

Just wanted to give some feedback on the Rostock walking tour. We did it on May 22, and it was a total disappointment. It was a cold, rainy day, we had a group of 6, and the guide was a sweet Polish girl who was brand new to the area and had never given a walking tour before. She carried a binder, and basically read us a little bit of information from it. If they couldn't provide an adequate tour, they should have just cancelled the tour for that day. It's the first time ever that I've rated a tour as not worth the time or money.

Thanks, Anni! I have a trip binder that I prepared for our cruise, and the Warnemunde section is filled with printouts from your website!

Hi Anni!
I've been studying your excellent website, but want to make sure of something about the s-bahn train ticket. We are a group of 4, so I'm going to buy the group day ticket to go to Rostock. Does this ticket also include the tram to the Kropeline Gate?
Thanks!

As an additional note, you would not be able to book Aqua Class on Celebrity with a 6-year-old because AQ cabins are restricted to no more than 2 passengers per cabin.

Since we always have a bottle of champagne in the cabin from our TA and DH doesn't drink, I never cruise without a champagne stopper!

So Ramses claims "the demonstration is over , they solved the problem now its calm again". Unfortunately, solving the problem involved the death of 26 people, and I find it hard to believe that all is calm. But of course, Ramses has a vested interest in reassuring tourists because they obviously wouldn't want any cancellations........

Hi Ruth -
Thanks so much for your input - I really appreciate it. Purim sounds like a great time, and I'm definitely going to try to schedule to be there for it!

Hi Ruth -
Your thread has been very helpful! I'm planning a trip to Israel next February/March, and would like to know if there is any period between mid-February to mid-March that I should avoid!
By the way, I used to live in Elmwood Park (formerly known as East Paterson)! Around the time you moved to Israel, I moved to Florida.

Noro is a problem for all lines. I'm currently on Coral Princess, and the captain announced a few days ago that there are noro cases onboard and put Noro precautions in effect. There's been no update since, but passengers cannot serve themselves on buffet lines, bread baskets and salt and pepper shakers have been removed from the tables, etc.
