  1. I have read that Puerto Vallarta is home to some great waterfalls, anyone have any recommendations on tours or a way to go on own with uber or taxi?

I have looked at a few excursions but they are not available on Feb 28th. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Just returned from Bermuda on the Pearl.  We did the Hidden Gems tour, which includes a cave, wet cave, and "cliff" jumping.....was a highlight of our trip.  But pricey!  (I had actually considered doing a tour on our own, but DH wanted a ship tour.)  I hope you have a blast!

Hello, can you tell me where you did "cliff" jumping"

  3. Hello, I am cruising in few weeks and have read several different answers so trying to clarify-- is the OBC from the credit card listed on account then charges just applied to it? Gratuities etc. Or do they split it out and have OBC listed for purchases and gratuities separate for billing to credit card?

  4. If i log into my NCL app on my phone it gives me a FCC amount with expiration 12/31/22,

if i log into NCL on my computer it gives me a different amount for FCC and expires 4/1/21.

My original cruise was April 22, 2020, canceled due to COVID and we rescheduled for October 3, 2020, still not sailing of course so canceled again.

Now rebooked for April 17, 2021.

Which one is correct does anyone know? Anyone else have same issue?

  5. Thanks all- yes my FCC included cruise fare, port fees, taxes and my prepaid gratuities.

Made out really well with the extra 25% FCC and 20% off next cruise but couldn't transfer the arcade pass, soda packages and on board credits I purchased for my kids room so I guess I will just see when it appears on my credit card.

  6. Me and my family were supposed to be getting off the Encore today- I took the FCC and rebooked but was told the extras would be refunded to my card (Arcade Pass, Soda Packages and purchased on board credits for my kids)- was anyone else due this and if so how long did it take for your refund? Just wondering if that is 90 days as well.

I use my points on my NCL  credit card to get $100 in ship board credit. Every day my DSC was deducted from my account off my ship board credit.  If you get a OBC from NCL this can not be used for DSC that's the confusion that causes the problem.

How long ago was this that you were able to do this?

Thank you all for the information- I only got the card because of the $100 promo so once i have all my OBC and have cruised I will be cancelling card.

  8. I have the NCL credit card and will be cashing in points for on board credit for April sailing ---but i am getting mixed answers from card company and NCL--

Has anyone had success/trouble with on board credit from credit card going towards daily service charges?

  9. I received an email about upgrading to a balcony for my Oct. 26th sailing on Regal but it says choose standard balcony or deluxe balcony (includes seating area)--

Does this mean if i go with the standard balcony it does not have enough room to sit???

  10. We will be traveling on the Regal in October and I am just wondering if Princess still has the heart shaped chocolate mousse dessert with raspberry drizzle in the main dining room and does the soda package still include non alcoholic drinks and milkshakes?  Just curious as these are 2 reasons I loved Princess last time since I love chocolate and non alcoholic drinks!

I got an email today telling me they are doing this.  Is it refunded pretty quickly or do you have to wait awhile?

It was on my credit card within a couple weeks, my cruise rep stayed on top of it for me and let me know when to look for it.

  12. I can't recall the cost of one soda ($3- $5). it varies between can soda (room service) and fountain soda but I found that my teens drank more soda on cruise than at home.. they didn't like the tea or juice and are not big water fans. The soda package has always been worth it for us.

  13. I have a group going in October and was assigned a personal cruise consultant for entire group.. he took care of everything..including moving a reservation. I never use a travel agent...only book with cruise line.hope you can get issue resolved. My group is getting great perks and I got two cruise credits since I have 36 people.
