Elation summer of 2000.

A little reading on the board will reveal it doesn't matter. You will be wondering all over the ship, as you are not locked in your cabin. For Glacier bay, it is a "dead end" street. Meaning you will go in, traveling at a slow pace, turn around a couple of times, and come out. So you will have ample opportunity to see all around.

 

Plus glaciers are very large objects. It is not like you will miss one if you aren't on the correct side of the ship at a certain 5 minute period.

I'm going on the Alaska Glacier Bay cruise on the Golden Princess. Is there a preferable side of the ship to book a cabin in order to have the best sight seeing from the balcony?

I just got off the Magic a few weeks ago. I brought my flat iron and my friend had a curling iron. Neither of us had any problems getting them on board. Mine was in my packed luggage since I was flying and didn't want to carry it on the plane.

Most people really love these aft cabins just because of the view. However, if you ever get a chance to get one of the aft wrap balconies, jump on it! This would be the cabin on the right hand side of your balcony, 4228. We have one of the aft wraps on the Miracle in May and I can't wait to get out there!

We're in cabin 4228 in June. It's my first aft wrap and my first suite. I'm very excited. I'm actually glad we're across from the laundry room. It will be very convenient to run out and do some ironing.
