Ooooo, so this is what Carnival is doing? We will be given green wrist bands? Is that what you are saying? Again, hadn't seen that either.
Kind backwards with 5% being the minority. I would think it would have been easier to have them wear wrists bands then the other 95%
But unvaccinated cruisers could then easily cut their wristbands off. It would be much harder for them to get their hands on one if they don’t qualify for one.(Edited: don’t want to contribute to the usage of “unvaccinated” as a collective noun.)

Unfortunately, I don’t remember except that it was in a test cruise participant’s report. I’ve read several — it’s possible that it was an RCL cruiser.
Princess should be an interesting case, since they use the medallions.

They have started putting punch hole in the corner of the sail and sign card for awhile now, so you may use a lanyard. There are holes in our last 4 cards.
Yes. This would be a second punch in a different corner. -
Apparently they put a punch in the corner of the Sail and Sign card of unvaccinated passengers.

Me too! We are booked for February 2022, I hope Camp Ocean is back open by then because his older brother will have the Circle C and he will feel left out.
Unless vaccination rates take a big jump in late fall/early winter, I don’t think Camp Ocean will restart prior to summer vacation next year. -
I wouldn’t think so. The people who checked the other two options don’t need to still be considered for exemptions. It’s the people who are a) unvaccinated, and b) not yet holding a letter granting them an exemption, who need to have their application evaluated.

No kids programming under age 12 at least through the end of October, even if you do get exemptions. I’d bail out until 2022. We did last week before all the decent 2022 cabins were being swarmed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the vaccination requirement is still in place next fall.

Calling Princess or Carnival might be the most reliable source, but I would hazard a guess that a two year old wouldn’t be counted among the four. Either way, though, you can make arrangements to add additional people (and amenities for them) to your cabana for an additional fee.

Clamshells have two loungers with them. If the rentable Mantas are the popup product that you can also buy on Amazon, they wouldn’t be big enough also have chairs. But you would have the advantage of setting them up where you want within reason. If that appeals, you may just want to buy one and bring it on the cruise so you don’t have to worry about finding open sunshades or renting umbrellas in any of the ports.

My husband and I caved this morning and moved our October booking on the Pride to October on the Legend next year. We have a two-and-a-half year old son still in diapers and had bought an OV cabin. With what’s looking like a greater and greater likelihood that Carnival won’t be able to get the children’s programming back up and running by this fall, we decided to bail out and dump the stress about getting an exemption or trying to contain and entertain a lively, noisy little wrecking ball for hours and hours in a 185 square foot non-childproofed cabin. Let alone persuading him to keep his mask on when out and about in the ship saying “Hi!” to everyone he sees.
Happily enough, we were able to trade up to an obstructed balcony, longer cruise, and ports we haven’t visited before for only $500 more dollars which isn’t due for another year. It was painless.

You don't "switch" cruises. You cancel one and book another
Typically the reps will understand what you’re asking for and won’t withhold help until you ask the right way.

We’ve been told that Carnival is hopeful to have the Clubs back up and running in the fall, always pending the ebb and flow of the pandemic.

Walking around at Graycliff Hotel is pretty and fun, and Ardastra Gardens might amuse. There's a flamingo show and opportunities to feed birds.

Is it too late to move your stingray excursion? When my husband and I did one in 2016, we chose the last available time and there were only four of us in the water. We got a LOT of time with the cuddly ladies. If you've never done one, you'll love it... when it's feeding time, stingrays turn into enthusiastic kittens.

November 2016, there were big plexiglas tubs of them outside the casino on the Ecstasy. Planning to get some pretty, necklace-inspired ones for myself and my MIL for our October 2019 cruise, though.

If you book a cabana or villa, you will get a fruit platter and chips and salsa. It's the bomb!

Not a huge fan of kidney beans or oysters in any format. I always tell myself I want lamb, but then when I get the lamb at a churrascaria I never actually like it.
Hrm, can't really think of anything else that makes my skin crawl. I don't care for the texture of braised beef, though. And I'd rather not with bell peppers, but I can roll with it if I need to.

For cruising, you may wish to check out bar shampoos and conditioners. There are several good brands findable on Amazon, for research. Ethique is one of the more intriguing ones, for their pack-friendly sizes.
