I highly recommend looking up Steve's Tropicante in Costa Maya. Wonderful experience there. You can email him to reserve lounge chairs and/or a table if it is available for your date. Beautiful beach and $30 massages on the beach. Simply delightful.
This guy has a great set up.

I travel solo some and had a good time. They will put you at a table with people your own age probaby. That is what they do to me anyway. Its good when you get a solo rate.

I got one yesterday that come from Lowes

I had E 2 last yr and and have it booked again this yr on the Elation. I like the first but I did hear some . But it didn't bother me at all.

With 33 Carnival cruises I'm a big fan. But the people who do the price forms don't no what the are doing. We had to call the last 3 times to get approved. I send mine in and call after a few hrs. Your PVP can help also. Good reason to use a PVP.

The thing with early saver is understanding the rules. I always book it when I can. My son used it for our Jan. cruise and saved 300 dollars a few weeks ago. I wish they would do away with it and just give better rates up front. But its their cruise line and they will do what they want

I have walked from to convention center. You will have to walk around it. When I stay that way I park at the fulton street parking and they have a free shuttle.

I just booked the and I don't think I had to use a password.

Seems like the cabs are about 32 dollars but can't remember if that is for two or what. I think when I had 5 it cost about 60 dollars and that was 5 or 6 yrs ago.

We used VIP one time. Going to the ship was fine, coming back was crazy. The shuttle was practically full and we were less than two miles from arriving back at the VIP lot when the driver was told to turn around and go all the way back to the port to pick up two more passengers????
So from debarking, waiting and riding in the shuttle it took almost an hour to pick up our car.
Jacksonville is the one port we prefer to park at the port. Much more convenient.
What time will the port let you park. Every port I have been to was around 930. I seen someone post that they won't let you in that early. The stay and park places I have called don't leave till 1130. Not sure where to get a hotel and park at the port or what

Just use your points to pay your statement balance, or at least the amount of points you have towards your balance. We do it all the time.
This is what I do also. Everytime I get 50 dollars I put it on my bill.

The market will decide where cruise pricing will go. Strong demand will equal higher prices, weak demand lower prices. My March 2015 cruise has gone down by almost $500 in price since I booked in September.:D
You have hot it. If they arn't selling price will stay the same or come down

I book solo rates and it works out well for me. I cruise in the off season. I don't think it work well in the summer. I just booked solo from Jacksonville a few hrs ago for 129 plus tax on 5 night cruise. Can' t beat that deal

I am beginning to think about packing for our upcoming cruise. In the past, I chose to forego the MDR, but I think that we will go there on this cruise. So, what is the most casual attire that is officially allowed in the MDR on both regular nights and elegant night.
I checked Carnival's website, but I found the wording confusing. For instance, what are dressy shorts? They are allowed, but shorts are listed as prohibited. Can my hubby wear khaki shorts down to his knees with a polo or tee shirt and sneakers on a regular night? And, jeans or capris and a plain v-neck knit shirt with Sperrys be OK for me on a regular night? Would black dress pants and a sparkly sweater set be OK for me on elegant night? And, khaki pants with brown sandals (not flip flops) or Sperrys and a polo for him on elegant night?
Please don't flame. We do not dress trashy in any way. We do not bare too much skin, wear offensive graphics or wording on clothes, and believe that flip flops belong on the beach and not on the streets. We are just trying to pack in 1 suitcase each, and not purchase clothing that we will only wear once a year when on vacation.
I'm a man and wear shorts and croc's every night but dress up night. I wear long pants and a polo shirt. But on dress up night I wear socks with my croc's. Now I'm the one who would get mad at my kids for not dressing up. But after 40 cruise's I'm laid back.

Most sales they have aren't that good to me,but the Halloween special was the best I have seen in a long time. It might be just the cruises I was looking at but they had some good prices

My PVP is great. When he books it you can rest a sure everythink is correct.

Elation is a find ship.

I am sure it is, but he can speak for himself. I can tell you from my experience that the answer is the A/C is working fine on all of ours. Or is this just a thread where people having issues can complain?
Well I need to take a jacket I get so cold. I think some cabins are just cooler then others. I don't think they are cutting the AC back. I'm glad they are replacing the old with more energy efficient . I did the same in my house that don't mean I'm keeping my house warmer just cheaper to cool.

I live out of my suit case and can be move in 5 min.

I can think of a better way to spend 50 dollars. But thats just me.

I just used him last week and had a great tour. You can't go wrong with Stanis taxi. You have to have a tour on this port to see anythink. He was a very nice young man

Since I do most of the cooking at home. Any think on the ship is better then I have at home. But I'm not picky. I'm sure you get what you pay for. I rather eat what I get on Carnival and cruise 4 times a yr then have a better meal every night and only cruise 1 or 2 times a yr.. But I'm retired and have to worry about using all my vacation time
-
I just got off the Dream last week and had a great time

I have noticed prices are always higher when kids are out of school and familey want to take a vacation they have you captive .. and cruises are always the cheapest in sept and first part of oct kids back in school and the hight of hurrican season also the last week of nov and first two week of dec every one is getting over thanksgiving and getting ready for christmas and they go up the closer you get to the Christmas holiday just my 2cents
You are correct. It has always been that way

Being diamond I think a free casino tournament entry would be better also. Their just isn't that much differents in the perks. A hr open bar would be nice also
