  1. Interesting article below. It said since Cruise Companies have their ships registered in countries to avoid paying US Taxes. And they don't follow US employment rules, they should not expect any bailout money from the US Government. This is probably true. Thoughts? https://www.thestranger.com/slog/2020/03/17/43175677/struggling-cruise-ship-corporations-should-not-get-aid-from-the-us-government
  2. Depending on the credit card you use to pay for your cruise you may have insurance included already. Chase Sapphire Benefit Overview Trip Cancellation provides reimbursement if a covered loss prevents you from traveling on or before the departure date and results in cancellation of the travel arrangements. Trip Interruption provides reimbursement if a covered loss on the way to the point of departure or after departure causes interruption of your covered trip. It can also provide reimbursement if a trip is postponed due to a covered loss and certain fees are incurred if a new departure date is set. The information below applies to both benefits. Reimbursement can be provided for pre-paid, non-refundable travel expenses including passenger fares, tours and hotels. Covers trips when travel arrangements for a pre-paid tour, trip or vacation have been purchased with an eligible Chase card or with rewards earned on an eligible Chase card Reimbursement is in excess of any travel insurance purchased, or reimbursement from the occupancy provider or common carrier such as airline, bus, cruise ship, or train
  3. On our last cruise, while looking for my luggage, I noticed a bag from a completely different Deck outside out cabin. I pointed this out to the people delivering bags. Hopefully someone got their bag a little earlier than they would have if it would have sat on the wrong deck.
  4. Some of Royal's decisions may come from studying under utilized space on the ships. I, for one, have never seen anyone in the libraries when I've walked past them. I'm sure they do get used, but not as much as other areas of the ship.
  5. If you buy a bottle of alcohol in the Duty Free shop on the first week of a B2B cruise, when does it get delivered to your cabin? At the end of the 1st or 2nd cruise?
  6. Maybe a fire hazard if it's made of paper or other flammable materials?
  7. I've never had a problem with charges only my statement for pool towels not turned in. But if you do have charges at the end of your cruise can you get them removed by going to Guest Services with a story, or is Royal firm on these charges? There must be families out there with teenages who leave them behind when they are done at the pool. I've always wondered this...
  8. A number of credit cards provide travel insurance if you pay for the trip using that cards.
  9. Not really enough time to do a park. It is an hour to drive each way. Getting in and out of the park will also eat up the better part of another hour. You could do Disney Springs for a meal and shopping.
  10. Detroit Tiger Fans don't have to worry about thing like this...
  11. What is the largest winnings for a group Slot Pull that you've participated in? The ones I've done have pretty much broke even...
  12. Just for future reference you can take the Magical Express to the airport and then use Go Port Canaveral to take a bus to the cruise port for about $15 a person.
  13. You can take the Magical Express from Disney Resort to the Airport for free. Then use GoPortCanaveral shuttle to the Port. Is $15 per person one way, or less if you can find a coupon code. This seems to be the cheapest way for 2 people. Not sure about a family of 6?
  14. I would agree with the front of the ship since the kid's pool and sports activities are located at the back of the ship.
