My husband and I were on the Vista this past February and we loved it, so much so, that we have booked for next February. Many people have complained about the buffet lines, but we never encountered any issues and the buffet selections in the mornings were wonderful. I will say that out of all the ships we've been on, the decor was a little blander, but we thought the decor on the lido deck was very nice, we enjoyed sitting and eating on the high-tops looking out over the water. Our mainstay was up in the Serenity area, we were there from 7AM until 4PM every day we were at sea and having a salad bar up there was an added bonus! I hope you enjoy your cruise on the Vista as much as we did!

Loved the Vista this past March.
Breakfast tip: the lines on Lido seemed worse on Vista than any other Ship I have experienced. After fighting the crowds on day 1, we found the breakfast offered on the Ocean Plaza deck (behind the specialty coffee bar) offered most everything offered on Lido. The exception seemed to be no omelets. There was never a line and always plenty of seating.
Although, I love my omelets, I loved the line free area this provided. We are not big on going to dining room for breakfast and this option was fantastic.
I hope this proves popular and is added to other ships.

also my longest cruise to date! The longest that I have been on is five days, this one will be 8 days! So excited to go on this ship. We did book a Cove Balcony though, so hopefully that is ok. So excited! Only 241 days to go!

I just booked cruise today, but keeps saying modified and then I log out and it shows up, but when I click on shore excursions it says Internal Error...

I booked about 45 minutes ago and my reservation keeps saying its being modified..
I haven't booked RCCL in over 10 years and last time it was through a TA, do I need to wait until tomorrow? Thanks for any and all help. (I did try to call, but was on hold for over 20 minutes).

When is your cruise? My husband and I are on Sensation April 16th. Our room has not yet been assigned so my fingers are crossed we will get an up sell offer.

I got a call this morning from Carnival asking if we were interested in moving from our Junior Suite to a Grand Suite on our Sensation cruise for $240. We took it! Can't wait to get away! Never been in any Suite on Carnival before :)

Dietary Needs
Carnival Cruise Line can provide our guests with the following special dietary needs: Vegetarian, Low-Cholesterol, Low-Fat, Low-Carbohydrates, Low-Sugar, Gluten Free, Indian Vegetarian, and Kosher. For Indian Vegetarian and Kosher meals, two weeks advance notice prior to your cruise is required. We kindly ask that you please inform our dining team so you can discuss your meal options. Additionally, we also request you advise our dining team of any food allergies you have. Any special dietary and food requests can be accommodated in our main dining rooms only.
Gluten Free:
Our chefs will make every effort possible to fulfill your requests and will gladly prepare freshly made options that meet your dietary needs. However, you will need to make arrangements in advance with your headwaiter and hostess. Once onboard, we ask you speak with them so they can assist in planning your daily meals in the dining room. This will allow us the necessary time to prepare foods, as requested, in a timely manner.
Additionally, we have available gluten free bread for deli sandwiches, hamburger buns for burgers, and cake upon request. Plus, our ice-cream and yogurt are Gluten-free and we offer Gluten-free pizza at the Pizzeria, as well as, Gluten free pasta on the pasta bar (only available on the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Dream, Carnival Magic, and Carnival Sunshine). However, please keep in mind that sandwiches, burgers, and pizza are prepared fresh upon request. Therefore, they may take a little longer than regular menu items. We ask for your patience while we prepare your requested dish. We’d also like to mention we carry Gluten-free beer, Estrella Daura for your enjoyment.
Food Allergies:
We ask that you please inform our dining team of any food allergies and special preparation you may require to accommodate your allergy. Please discuss this the first evening of your cruise. Any special dietary and food requests can be accommodated in our main dining rooms only.
Healthy Food Selections:
Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus in the main dining room feature Healthy Option selections designated by a heart symbol on the menu.
• Starters and entrees are:
» Low in fat
» Low in sodium
» Low in cholesterol
• Desserts are prepared without sugar or sugar substitutes.
Other Dietary Needs:
Most simple diet requirements can be accommodated on board. We do not have dieticians on board; therefore, we can only offer assistance with simple requests such as the method of preparation of menu items. Diet requirements need to be arranged with the guest's head waiter on the first night of the cruise. If dining in the Lido Restaurant, the guest should discuss requirements with senior dining staff.

Thank you! We decided not to stay near the airport (the hotel we were going to stay at had a shuttle). I really wanted to stay near the port :)

Bummer, the only day to book a couples massage is at 4pm the day that we leave...Was hoping to book it on a sea day. Its not until April, any chance more will open up?

Diminishing Quality on Carnival?

We went with carnival back in 2013 & 2016. We went back to RCCL (they were our first cruise). We just wanted to try something different. This time RCCL was not good and I was wishing I was back on a Carnival ship. We had poorly prepared food and awful entertainment on RCCL. We are back with Carnival in 3 weeks! Can’t wait!
