    Laurieb,

Appreciate that info. TA knows I’ve paid in full. Sent him an email asking for confirmation of his offer. Even though his offer appears to be $900 in my favor— apparently without losing any Azamara perks—I seem reluctant to transfer to a TA I do not know except for emails and two calls. If I proceed, all future contacts/changes would be handled by him/his team. There is something comforting about dealing directly with cruise line. My contact so far has been very available and responsive. Still pondering….

If you do choose to cancel and rebook with this agent, please make sure you have everything in writing, including cruise line perks, final price with any TA perks, and any policies the TA agency may have.  Just weigh the differences.  Using a TA is most always better than booking directly IMO

  2. Currently onboard Quest. Not a single complaint!  Everything reminds me of the old Azamara with some new things added. Tonight is our second dinner under the stars, with the pool deck transformed just like white night. The singers are performing for us this evening.
White night was fabulous!  Excellent food and some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Even sashimi!

Just joined this great Forum. Appreciate the help as wife and I are taking first Azamara cruise on Journey in August 2025 for Scotland Intensive experience.  Eighth trip to the home of my wife's family with genealogy officially traced back to 1600's.  But we have never seen it via ship.  Looking forward to every minute.

Allow me to post my first question:  I booked directly with Azamara and paid in full and received uptick in total amount of onboard credits.  A TA I contacted prior to direct booking offered me a $900 refund over Azamara's booking price if I would transfer my reservation to his Agency.  This a GO idea to do or a NO GO to pass up?  Afraid I might lose something in this transfer.

Sadly once you’re paid in full you cannot transfer to a TA. You would need to cancel and rebook at the current rate and pay a cancellation fee

  4. Friends have had their cruise repriced twice for significant savings.  Just beware that if you have a b2b cruise and the price drop is a new promotion you’ll lose any perks or promotions you had on both cruises.  I hope Azamara will do something to fix this.

I read somewhere that CocaCola was giving them Royal Club free to carry Coke products.  So take it and push it on the unsuspecting.  Then add Fevertree to the Premium (or at least Ultimate) package for those who are entitled to the better Gins.  That would hardly be a major expense.

    I actually think that’s a great idea!

I have another friend onboard who is meeting with her and I've sent her a link to this thread. Maybe we can do something, but my confidence is not high. Hope you are having a super time on Quest. Wish I was there.

I'll be onboard too!  I had no idea she would be sailing with us.

ah yes....starting with a bang.  We just started to sail with Azamara after the cut off of transfer of points....so although we should be top members, we are somewhere around the lowest.....and yes, we are still bitter about that incredibly poor marketing decision.  Way to go new CEO....rub it in.

It was well advertised long before the cut off date.  Not Azamara's fault that you didn't start cruising with them until after.

I have a cruise coming up in six weeks and wanted to compare Azamara's excursion prices to some independent tours.   But now, although I can see the excursions, I cannot see any prices!   I have tried a couple of ways to try to access the excursions, but I still see just a description and no price.    Any suggestions??  (btw, I did manage to see prices some weeks ago, when I purchased one as part of the OBC shore excursions credit.)

I have noticed, on our cruises coming up this month (!!!) that there are excursions showing with no prices; they are the ones that have sold out.  Available ones are still showing prices.

Yikes I hope we are an independent sailing group and can arrange our own tours in groups or otherwise.  In the meantime I will continue to enjoy the board conversations and information on Azamara Onward Med sailings.

You can arrange your own tours, which you probably will find beneficial as you are traveling as a group.  I expect you may find the same though, that it is too far out and many tour guides/ companies are not offering anything yet.

It will be our first time on Azamara in Dec.  We have a lot of OBC, so much I'm not sure how we will spend it and I think it is nonrefundable.  If we pay for excursions now with OBC and later change our minds, can we cancel and the OBC will go back in our accounts?

Yes, if cancelled 48 hours before the excursion in general, and yes the OBC would go back to your shipboard account.

You can use your OBC for specialty dining/ Chef's Table, wine, upgraded drink package or individual drinks not already included, the spa, the salon, the shops.

We have been given them on both Quest and Journey in the last six weeks -  however we now pack a spare one just in case, it adds virtually no weight and having got caught out on Onward and it was a right pain we learned our lesson

I was thinking maybe I should pack one just to be safe.  I've often used one as my personal item for my flights

Cannot change moment on Quest, but we're on Journey now, and we have been given tote bags.

Thank you!!  I hope you're having a wonderful cruise!!

Are you referring to Pick Your Perk promotion on offer right now?  The T &C says it is combinable with B2B sailings.  Do you lose B2B OBC or other perks such as Experience More package?

    Extraordinary Perks

Big price reduction on the first leg, lost EBB but got 1000.00 OBC.  EBB also taken off second leg, but wasn't informed that would happen.  I have someone working on it now; I'll let you know the outcome if it changes.

  14. If you have a B2B cruise, be aware that if you adjust one of the cruises, new promotion case in point, you will lose any benefits you had on both legs, even if no new promotion was added to the other leg.  Not a happy camper right now.

Didn’t Azamara give guidance on this pre cruise?

They shouldn't have to.  We're all grown ups and need to be responsible.  This could happen on land as well as on a long cruise.

  16. You have a couple options.  Your TA is able to price their available options, or you can call Azamara and speak with them about it. Not possible to book online with them but understand it will be an option in the future.  It is still too early to look for air for your cruise.
