My 1st cruise was way back in or around 1989 and my last one was 2009. They said cruises that old don't count in the new credit system they are using now. I have a bunch of photos and other items from cruises, but not cards or other proof. The funny thing is when the had the old reward system they had all my trips counted for, they just won't count them now. I've called and e-mailed and the best I can get us "they will get to me".

I really want to go on a Carnival cruise again, I live 10 miles from PC, but they won't or can't credit me with my past 5 or 6 cruises! Really disappointing. Anyone else have problems like that?:confused::(:(

I wonder if there will be any upgrades on the 2 Mar 14 Alliure cruise. Right after dry dock I bet they will be full!:cool:

As far as I know and can tell they are real deal. I got a citizen Eco drive and a Philip Stein they are real but one thing I noticed they are last years models, but I got a good deal, so no worries. I'm just waiting for them to carry Rolex! :D

I don't know if anyone said anything about this I may have missed it, but today on TV they did show a little of the float and it does say something like "SORING over the SEA".

Blue Heaven is the only place to eat.

Don't worry about it, just smile, laugh, have fun. I've seen a lot of people on ships that should not be in a bathing suit and they are having fun and who cares what others think! This is just me talking but I don't like to see bones. A nice smile and laugh at my jokes, that what we (I) want, like!:D

I live in the area and this maybe fun for you try one of what we call the party boats. I like the Orlando princess. I always have luck with them. They leave around 10:00 and get back around 5:00. Some time you can get a lot of people on the boat 40 or 50 but if you get a stern spot it's fun and they have the rods reels and bait and you may catch something that the restaurant next door will cook for you, anything but sharks they won't cook them. No I don't work for them. If you want more info just let me know. Welcome to the Space Coast.

Is there a VIP pool deck seating on the Allure? Where is it, does anyone have a photo?

The last time I was on the EOS at lunch on the island I was using tongs to get a cookie when some lady just reached in with her hands and grabbed two. I couldn't help but I said " what a pig, that's why they put tongs here!". She heard me, don't know if she cared.

They always take cash, one of the first things I do when I meet them is shake his/her hand and give them a $20.00. Always get great service after that.

Can anyone tell me about the best place to park at FLL? Should we park at the port or off port? How much does it cost? Also I think it was at Miami I didn't have to pay at all just showed them my handicap sticker, do they do that at FLL? I hope it's better then here at Port Canaveral, $20.00 a day at the port.
:)

I just found this thread. Very interesting to say the least. My wife and I are going on the Allure in Mar for my 60th BD and we purchased this package already. Mainly for peace of mind, my DW worries all the time about how much we spend. I'm not too worried about getting our monies worth, mainly just one less thing to worry about. But, if you are worried about that think of this, the tips are included, so take the 10 or 15% off the top.

Why should a ships pool be any different than any other pool? Parents need to watch and know what the kids are doing 24/7. If they did they would be better, happier and feel loved. You are the parent. You can't let your children go to the pool while you go to the bar. Your kids are your responsibility not the ships. I know some people will disagree and flame. That's ok if this keeps one child safe go ahead and yell.

Maybe my Chops dinner was the exception and not the norm, but what I want is a 1 inch thick steak. Anyone going on the AOS and Chops, please check it out for me let me know what they have.
Thanks

Does anyone remember how thick your steak was? The porterhouse I had on EOS was about 1/4 inch thick. Wasn't very good.

Sorry for the silly question but what do you mean "rotatation". Will Capt Johnny not be the Capt in March 2014? I was really looking forward to saying hello, haven't sailed with him since 2007.
Allure OTS - Capt Tore Grimstad (started rotation 8-16-13)
Allure OTS - Capt Johnny Faevelen

Hello everyone, I have a simple question that I hope anyone and everyone can answer and help me with. In two weeks my DW and I are going on the Enchantemt of the Seas in a GS. What can we expect and what should we know and do as this is our first time in a GS?
Thanks everyone looking forward to reading your posts.
