  1. This is our first RCCL cruise so please forgive me. Does the Navigator have set dining times like Early and Late in the main dining room? Do you need to arrange this time beforehand with TA? If you have early dining time but are late can you go to Anytime dining? Should we just pick Anytime dining and make a reservation at different times each night depending on planned activities. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

  2. Hi Everyone, this will be our first RCCL cruise and we are sailing onboard the Navigator March 2018. I have a few questions that I am not finding answers to on website, please help...

    1. How much is Deluxe alcohol pkg for 9 day cruise?

    2. Is smoking allowed in casino? Last Carnival cruise we could not gamble because my asthma was so bad from smoke in casino.

    3. How are the shows? My husband is a big show freak?

    4. Are there movies outdoors?

    5. What is the food like in the dining rooms on a scale of one(bad) -10(excellent)?

    6. How expensive are the domestic beers?

    7. Is there a Texas Hold'em table?

    8. Can you pay gratuities yourself or must you add it to room charges?

    9. My sons love the sports activities like volleyball etc. Is there a lot of playtime?

    10. Do you prefer RCCL to Carnival?

  3. The reservation does not get cancelled, it just gets moved to the travel agent. No loss of deposit. You keep all the perks (including OBC) from the original booking.

What if the cruise is on sale by RCI with a non-refundable deposit if cancelled? Will they still transfer? Is it inappropriate to ask the RCI agent when you are booking?

  4. Can I please ask if you book your cruise on the cruise line website and receive OBC and then transfer your booking to a TA won't you lose the OBC from the cruise line? Do you cancel your reservation? Do you lose your deposit? Maybe I don't understand this process. Can someone please explain in detail. We are getting ready to book a big family cruise and these perks will help a lot to those of less means to splurge. We have not decided yet if we are sailing on Royal Caribbean or Princess. Is there any difference in their policies. The reason why I am considering booking with the cruise line directly is because we presently do not have a TA, she retired. So I want to book now with the cruise line to reserve our cabins and then if I find a TA with a better deal then transfer. Is that how it works?

  6. Can anyone please help us find a nice hotel near the Tampa bay port. We would like beachfront, under $150.00 and within 25 miles of the port. We have never sailed out of Tampa before so I am kinda lost as to where we should stay. Our travel agent said Clearwater Beach, but the hotels seem so expensive. I really don't care if they offer any kind of cruise package, just something nice and that won't break the bank. Sailing on April 10th and arriving on April 7th. I also heard that St. Petersburg is nice. Just want a beachfront community.

  7. We have been to Paradise Beach twice and it is more of a family oriented beach with jumping and climbing toys. The drinks and food were a little high in price, but were good. I would not go if I did not have children to entertain. We are going to Nachicocum on our next cruise. It is $55.00 entrance fee for all you can drink and eat. I heard it is more for adults and less children, now that ours is grown.

  8. I have always heard a lot of people buy their prescription drugs in Mexico but I was always afraid to. The new asthma medication I am taking is $80.00 an inhaler, so I am going to take the risk and see if they sell it and it is cheaper. Mostly I have heard of people buying Retin-A. I just hoping that someone bought it often enough to tell me a good pharmacy near the pier.
