We have been on 5 cruises out of 5 different ports (Miami, Port Canaveral, Seattle, Texas, & Long Beach, CA) this last year and none requires customs forms anymore. We asked the cruise line and they said they no longer require them.

Thanks! Great review! I recognized you from your You Tube videos, which I also enjoyed very much. Do you remember what time they started Self Assist disembarkation?
I think they were starting by 7. We kind of took our time getting off. I think we started down about 8 or so and it was our fastest debarkation ever. We were literally off the ship , through customs and out waiting for our taxi in less than 15 minutes.

Hi, Loved all your videos. But I have a few questions, if you do not mind.
In La Romana you went to Dreams Resort. Where you did you book that through. I do not see that as an option throught Carnival. I google it and only see how to reserve as if I was staying in their hotel. LOL
Any advice on any ports would greatly help. This is our first time to all these ports.
Sorry for the late reply.... We just emailed them to reserve. You pay when you arrive. You can also just take a taxi there and sign up and pay when you arrive. There were several people but was not over crowded.

Does anyone know if the aft facing balconies on the Legend are able to open up in between the cabins next door to make a large balcony? I've seen some pics where they are opened up or taken out and have had different people tell me yes and no. Has anyone done this? We are on deck 8 and have all the aft facing balconies in our group and are hoping to be able to open some up. Thanks for any info....

ICalibra17, sorry if somebody has asked this already but what if we don't have passport and only use birth certificate , those don't have pictures. You mentioned they use passport pics for your S&S cards. I know it is probably not going to be on the Breeze yet when we sail but I am just curious. Thank you.I am just off the Visa...They still take your picture when you check in which gets attached to your card in the system. You check in the same as always, you can even set up you account or put gift cards on at check in. You just don't get you sail & sign cards until you go to your room. When we got on the ship I think we were suppose to show the bar code on our boarding pass but no one asked. Everyone just walked on. Although if you want to buy a drink or something before getting your card then you show them your paper boarding pass and they scan that. It actually made the process run much smoother and faster.

Hoping someone is familiar with the White Pass train excursion in Skagway can help me. There is a group of us and some booked the excursion through shore trips which your return ride is not by train, I like bus. The other part of our group wants to book the one through Carnival which is train both ways. Which is the better excursion ? Do you get to see more by taking the bus back? What is the big difference between these. Is there anyone with knowledge on this that can help. I would like to see and experience the most from this excursion. Thanks for any info....
