Definitely fly into Newark. I think there is construction on or near port of Bayonne exit. I would just allow a little extra time, although I would imagine cruise leaves late afternoon. you should be OK. There is a new terminal there, but never been through it.

Be careful when renting...especially from Budget...Picked up car at budget and returned it to Melbourne Airport. No one there in return area and dropped off paperwork at rental counter. They said your good to go...well a month goes by and I get a letter in the mail claiming the car had damage to it when it was returned.

This vehicle had minor paint dis-coloration on a small part of hood when we rented it but was not noted on paperwork when we picked up car.

Now in the hands of my insurance company...

Just beware and do a full walk around/

Wife and I went on Freedom of the seas and there was a problem with ships docking late...we used Budget car rental and they told us at the time that port officials and coast guard would not let anyone in until the back log cleared..at the time it was 1030 a.m. before first shuttle could bring in outgoing passengers.

Normally guess there is no problems.

If you are asking about Freedom, then you can use the interactive TV for room service.

That itinerary most often goes to St Thomas, but we went to San Juan this past week. It is quite possible that your sailing next week was also changed. We had divers scraping crud off the hull of the ship - we were told that this was desperately needed. Maybe they couldn't finish the job in one day.

My first cruise was on the Holland America lines Rotterdam, actually my second one was too. Really enjoyed cruising then and now.

Was wondering if anyone could help me with dates of a past cruise on the rotterdam ? On the first cruise on her we were scheduled to go to Bermuda and Nassau...however the tugs that brought the fuel barges to the ship were on strike and we had to take on fuel ib the Chesapeake Bay and missed one port.

I cannot find any paperwork.

Any help with month and year would help.
