  1. Some Holland America ships do allow jogging on the Promenade. It’s my understanding that if you are on a Vista ship you can jog there. From my experience the jogging tracks on the sports deck are terrible, approximately 11 laps to a mile, tight corners, and lots of people walking. If jogging is allowed on the promenade I do use it. Of course, if not, as on the Zaandam, I stick to the track.
  2. There weren’t any signs that said no jogging on these ships when I was onboard. I asked a crewman and was told that it was okay. I have been on other Holland America ships where it was not allowed, and, yes, I do respect the rules on each ship.
  3. All I can say is it was allowed the last time I was on the Westerdam. It was allowed on the Oosterdam last time I was on that ship ( 2017) as well. Perhaps things have changed since then.
  4. Some ships allow it , others don’t. It depends if there are cabins on the deck below. I know that the Westerdam allowed jogging on the promenade.
