My sisters and I were on the 2/2/20 Bliss cruise and we were NOT asked to fill out anything about China and never noticed anyone coughing.  We were and are all still fine.  Knock on wood and fingers crossed.

There are different deck plans after 8/30/20.  Nothing big that I see except that Margaritaville becomes American Diner. And LaCucina becomes Onda by Scarpetta.  Cruisedeckplans.com can be viewed by guests or you can become a member and I think you have more access to pictures.  I joined years ago for next to nothing and have no idea how much it might be now but I love it to know as much as possible before I sail.  

My sisters and I are hooked on the Haven and have a 12 night cruise on Encore next February so fingers crossed that we will be passed this by then and that it doesn't return in the fall.  So we have no desire to switch lines.  We've done a lot on Carnival, some on Princess, Celebrity and RCL.  

That's good news for all past passengers and the crew!!!!!  It's a wonderful ship with a terrific crew.

So nice to pick up OBC for a cruise you were already planning to take.    I would have missed out on so many good deals if I hadn't learned so much from people on this board.  

 

I met a woman today that is going on her first every cruise to Alaska and the Bliss and I was telling her how great it was etc.  And I told her about this site so she could educate herself.  

THANK YOU SO MUCH.  I just got $600 OBC added to our 2/1/21 cruise that we booked a couple weeks ago.  I just love my cruisecritic friends.

Thanks for the posts!!!  We have a 2 bedroom in Haven booked for next February.  There will be 5 adults in the cabin - hope we are still family when we disembark.  Will the 2 in the 2nd bedroom be comfy enough?  Thanks for any response.  We love the Haven.  

The Haven Courtyard rooms are just nice big rooms but you would probably pay double.  Treat yourself!!!!

I don't drink coffee but my sister does and she HATED the Nespresso and the Lavazzo - we are in a Haven.  We are going to request a regular coffee maker next cruise.  Glad I don't drink it.

I keep thinking of things - WE LOVED SIX.  We would have gone back to see it again but they were done for the cruise the first week of your 2 week cruise.  Bummer.  

Oh and if you see Joe and Irene around in the Haven (they've been on the ship for several weeks) - tell them Barb, Mar and Patty say hi!!!!!!!

Love the sistahs cruise.  My 2 sisters and I just got off the Bliss on 2/16.  We were in an aft Haven.  And we LOVED Monica in the Haven lounge.  She took good care of us.  I brought my expired passport so that was a bit of a mess at the pier but NCL came up with a solution (my bro-in-law back home had to go to my house and take a pic of my birth certificate).  We have the Encore booked for 2/1/21 with the husbands in a 2 bedroom and now I'm worried that the bed in the 2nd bedroom doesn't open up!!!!! Thanks for all the posts.  Sorry about your weather.  The sun deck is awesome.    

Just off Bliss and the newer ships have the Horizon Lounge in Haven area and it's beautiful.  They must have given up quite a few suites to put this in but it's quiet and beautiful and nice on sea days to get a nice lounge couch and read.  I was spoiled by Haven before on Breakaway but now I don't want to sail without Horizon Lounge.  

Sorry that you won't get to see it on board.  We don't usually go to shows anymore but we heard it was good and it was EXCELLENT.  I wouldn't have understood it if my sister hadn't explained it to me prior.  We heard they were going to Broadway but you know how rumors spread.  

Where did you read this?  I was on the 2/2 sailing and disembarked on 2/16.  We had heard that prior to Saturday, 4 people had passed away.  We know of one for sure because we were in the Haven as was he and his companion.  So if this was the last night - that would make 5 deaths.  Please tell me where you read this because I am curious yellow!!!!!!!

It's a very windy crazy drive.  I thought it was more like 30 minutes.  

Kim - love all your reviews.  Your pictures and videos are all amazing and Sakari is growing up so fast!!!!  What great memories she's making.

Your post about the couple staring at you in Cagney's brought back a memory from a long ago (2008) Costa Mediterranea cruise with our 13 and 8 year old nephews.  We had a great deal with beer/wine during meal times for $100 per adult for the 7 day cruise.  And believe me - we took advantage of that and had a blast.  There were 7 of us and we had set setting times/table so were always next to a table of 4 from Europe somewhere.  They always seemed to sit in the same seats but we would change most nights.  The one women seemed to stare at my youngest sister constantly.  Her 13 year old son didn't see it and didn't believe it till we made him sit next to his Mom one night and within minutes he said "oh yeah - she is for sure staring".  It was just weird and my sister would just stare back.  Very annoying but we still laugh about it.  

If you order a glass of wine that is over $15 - you just pay the difference.  

I can't tell you how many times this has happened to myself and my sisters and it does't matter - it's just annoying to us.  We keep changing it and then check and our addresses and phone numbers are all mixed up.  

Kim,  just found your post yesterday and have been reading it pretty much non stop since.  I thought I was just going to be reading and seeing lots of pics of a cruise - never did I expect to read and see what happened and am so sorry for all you've been thru!!!!!  Some of the pics of your ankle/leg were horrifying.  I would have been crying 24/7 all those months.  You sure are a trooper!  I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas cruise.  You certainly all deserve it.

Once you book thru NCL you can still transfer the booking to a TA and they still get commission from that booking. Not sure if it's the same amount but...there's many TAs out there that will give you OBC if you transfer an existing booking to them.

But you have to transfer with 30 days and if final payment is due when you book - you can't transfer.

We got an upgrade to the Haven before they started the bidding process a few years ago.  I don't think we will ever go back to a regular cabin.  The perks are amazing.  We live frugal lives normally so this is our only splurge and we feel it's worth it.  Enjoy!!!!
