Where do we get transport from Miami airport to Miami cruise port for our Symphony cruise?  We do not want to Uber.  There are 6 of us.  Is there like a van service at airport we can just walk out and hire?  TIA

I am use to just getting transportation right there at airport once we've landed.  Usually takes 15 - 20 minutes to get to our cruise ship.  I don't prefer a 45 minute ride after landing and especially at end getting off ship.  However, the biggest concern is getting the transportation.  There will be 5 and maybe even 7 of us.  I don't want to rent a car or do uber.  I was hoping they just had the transportation right there that you could pick up to take everyone and their luggage and not cost an arm and leg?  TIA

Cruising out of Miami in April.  Looking at flights on SW but I see none to Miami.  Friend mentioned to fly into Fort Lauderdale.  I'm not familiar with the distance so want to know if anyone knows if we can catch ride to cruise ship in Miami and if it's fairly close?  Otherwise guess I need to go on another airline.  TIA

Just sad the way they are starting to up their pricing for every opportunity available. Cruising isn't what it use to be. We rarely order room service and now we surely will not.

Ok I know there's vans or something outside of airport to take us to ship but how about when we return and get off ship. Will there be vans sitting around to hire to take us to airport or do we have to prearrange? We are going on Harmony in August and there's 8 of us. We are flying into fort Lauderdale and leaving from same. TIA:)

We will be on Harmony of the Seas and I'm getting ready to book flights....should have already as price as gone up :(:(:(:( Anyway the best price I can get that may work but not sure is leaving at 10:15. Would we be able to get off ship in time to catch this flight or is the flight too early. The next one isn't till after 12 noon and we didn't want to leave that late. It is Southwest. TIA

While it's wonderful to rave about and stand up in support of a company one loves, it's never okay to insult or ridicule a fellow member for taking the time to post a statement, concern, critique, opinion, review, or something they feel is important enough to write about. Congrats on your anniversary. We are cruising on same ship and same week also. I don't normally like the big ships, I prefer the mid class. We are Diamond Plus on this cruise and married soon 50 years! There will be lots of walking on this ship which is sort of good....exercise! Book your shows for sure. Enjoy your trip!

Just sad how so much has a charge or higher charge now. I remember the good old days when everything was included pretty much. Now they look for all kind of ways to make more money! A couple of my family no longer cruise and this is one of the small reasons so they are now doing land based cruises.

Our family cruises once to twice a year and we are Diamond Plus. A couple of them really like room service but only order when they are hungry and they do not waste it. I know there are those that do. I thought I saw somewhere that Harmony charges for room service now :rolleyes: please if anyone knows let me know. I know Royal started charging a little something from midnight on but room service was always free in the twenty some years I've been cruising. I pray this is not so. There was a time when you paid for nothing then came the specialty restaurants which was your choice if you chose to go there but room service that's a big NO for me.

Got a certificate from Casino Royale to book a new cruise. Called for pricing a few times during the week and each time got a different C.R. rep & different pricing - even tho cruise prices had not changed on travel agent site. A couple of cruise prices from C.R. were actually more expensive than booking with our usual online travel agent.

 

Thought the prices were supposed to always be about 20% less. Are we missing something? What's the trick?

 

Would appreciate any advice on booking with Casino Royale or any experiences.

my son gambles a lot on RCC casino and our travel agent always calls the casino for pricing for him. he always gets 500 off any cruise or they have a list he can pick from that are free! I get the discount but not like him!:)

what deck is the hot tub on and is it open all the time or certain hours? TIA

There will be 8 of us arriving in Fort Lauderdale in August to take the Harmony. Where can we get transportation for all 8 of us and about what will it cost. Thank you for any input!:)

Do they come back to get you and take you back to ship or do you have to search for one when you are ready to leave??

My son is on the Grandeur from Baltimore now and he called on Saturday, his first evening, and said they are no longer allowing casino open to gamble on first night. He said they stated they are following suit with other cruise lines. Does anyone know anything about this and why? TIA

We are going on a cruise out of Cape Liberty and our usually transport from our home picked us up and drove us up and came back after cruise and brought us home. We've had him for years but he's not able to do it this year. we leave in August. Does anyway have any ideas besides driving ourselves, train or bus on transportation that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. TIA

There will be 6 of us...2 of which are teenagers. Everyone seems to want to go to a beach so first is there a nice beach that isn't too crowded with maybe something like a tiki bar, and what would everyone recommend. Also are there islanders hanging around that we can hire to take 6? I haven't been to Grand Cayman in many years but don't remember anyone hanging around to drive you to the beach or tour so don't know how to get there and my husband isn't one to take a bus. TIA
