  1. I feel for you! I had this exact thing happen to me last year. I left Fl to Rome for a 7 day cruise on the Epic. I got to Rome with just the clothes I had on. I had 1 day before the cruise. In Rome the shops were expensive and had trouble finding much. I boarded the Cruise the next day and told the ship what happened and they suggested I get right off the ship because the port had some great shopping. I was able in port to buy everything I needed. Just make sure you try everything on. Everything I could try on was fine. I couldn't the underwear and it was way to small. So just a warning about the sizes. Now when I alerted NCL about the issue they did paperwork for me. They gave me a toiletry kit and a free same day laundry bag and 1 t-shirt. Every day I would have a message from NCL that they contacted the Airline for me and could expect my luggage the next day. I heard that same thing almost every day. Well my luggage never made it the entire cruise. I ended up buying a little in each port. On night before the end of the cruise I was worried what to do about carrying everything off I went to guest services and they gave me a free piece of luggage! Asked if it was big enough and it wa I suppose if it wasn't they would of given me something else. NCL was amazing and it wasn't their fault. It just sucked being told every day that next port my luggage would be there. 2 weeks after I got home my luggage arrived with tags from all over the world. My luggage is better traveled then I am. I was able to get direct from my airlines right around $1,600. Have a great cruise! Make the best of it and was a good ice breaker and story to tell while on the ship.

  2. I never saw gym showers on the Epic.

The spa does have great showers on the Epic, and I highly recommend the spa on Epic for relaxing with your wife/husband.

I had a spa pass on the Epic last year for my cruise. I used the Spa shower daily instead of the room shower. The spa showers are awesome as is their private balcony!

  3. Please be careful selling things onboard. I had a friend who's daughter while on board tried selling magazine subscriptions for her school and they warned her no passenger is allowed to sell anything is against ship policy. Just don't want you to get in trouble selling any of those beautiful pins. I believe we met on the Getaway years ago!

  4. Flights are not covered with ubp but you can order each flavor separately one at a time....

I also wanted to try the flights but ordered each flavor on it's own so wouldn't have to pay.

  5. You have to take care of yourself and not expect others to do it for you. I have back issues and am tall when in coach if someones reclined their seat till it touched my knees it would add to my discomfort. Did I ever expect or think rude for that person to recline all the way or would I ever ask them to move their seat? Of course not. If I want to assure my comfort I take care of myself and book a proper seat. Call me selfish but I have enough of my problems to worry about someone who wasn't smart enough to take care of themselves. I personally find it rude if someone asks me to move my seat that I worked hard for and personally deserve to be as comfortable as possible in the seat I paid for and that for me is reclined. Call me rude but I would be the first to move seats for a family or couple as long as the seat was the same category. Also, do a ton of charity work. I am just tired of people expecting strangers to make exceptions for them because they weren't wise enough to plan appropriate travel for themselves and then call out others. I have a long flight coming up and to take care of myself and my own issues I booked business class.
