Hi Stephen. I’m not cancelling this time! :p I’m excited to meet “The Dougout” too. Fun times ahead....

They used to do them only on the Star and Dawn (much bigger outdoor space than the Jewel Class ships), we had a fantastic one a year ago on the Dawn! I requested another for my parents' 60th anniversary party on our upcoming Dawn cruise and was told they've been discontinued since the refurbishment due to safety reasons.

I had emailed them at ShareholderBenefit@ncl.com and asked for the fax number and the above is what was emailed back to me. I then faxed the Shareholder Benefit Request Form and Page from my Vanguard statement showing my NCL stock ownership. A few days later received a phone message saying my fax was received with NO attachments. I took photos with my iphone and emailed them ... in a couple days received an amenity confirmation showing dinner (for two) at Cagneys and bottle of wine.

 

We had the Ultimate Beverage Package :)

Am I correct in remembering that the stock benefit is not combinable with other OBCs? If not, where do I send the request?

Skyline Bar replaced Bliss, but that's not exactly a dance club, is it? There's the wine bar, which is adults only by default. Spice H2O has dancing at night, but I get your point. Yep, there's likely something else coming. Unless 5 O'Clock Somewhere is a dance place?

Yeah, Spice has dancing but it's a family friendly venue at night. Skyline Bar does not seem like a dance club, but who knows, we really know very little about it at this point. Hopefully another venue is yet to come.

I am trying to decide if I should book the penthouse on deck 17 or 18. We were on 16 this cruise and loved being right near the pool, bar and restaurant. 18 seems like the best option except I am wondering about movement above in the morning from the loungers on the 19 sun deck

While I love Jersey Boys, I also love the Norwegian staple, "Oh What a Night", that I've seen many times on many of the ships. I doubt they'd put on a longer version (albeit a different one) of something they've had for years. One the other hand, it would be hard to tire of the music! :)

In my humble opinion, they're putting too much into the slides/ropes/rock climbing/planks. From what I've observed, there are more people that want to "hang" by the pool and cocktail it up than "hang" from a carabinar 17 decks over the sea. Just my opinion. :cool:

Umm. Where's the pool. I see a foot bath but no pool.

I completely agree. I'm not a ship pool user, but DAMN. :eek: That's a postage stamp. Completely ridiculous for the size of the ship. I know it (the Escape) will be gorgeous, but give me the Sun's pool/pool-deck any day.

We were in the Sun OS for 15 nights this fall, and 11 nights 2 years ago. Never heard a thing! Both of our cruises were during off peak cruise times, but I wouldn't worry at all, it's a great suite!

Good grief! :eek::eek::eek: You guys are competing for furthest out booked cruise. I couldn't ever wait that long...

I just booked for march 2017 NCL SUN 813 days to go ! :eek:

 

NCL canadian$ price was only 7.5 % over US$ price. While today my bank charge me 1.19CA$ for 1 US$. Can't beat NCL exchange rate and i got free UBP too. I didn't want to wait until they increase their exchange rate.:D

I think I just booked a B2B the furthest out in advance in history! The Gem, NYC - San Juan, then San Juan - San Juan 10/15-23 then 10/23-30. 2016! Between our CAS pricing and the current OBC/UBP/UDP promo, we got the DOS for less than staying home. Unless you factor in my husband's gambling.:eek:

Has anyone else booked 666 days in advance? At least we have a bunch before then. :D

I love Skyline on DCL so I'm happy NCL is copying it.

I'm just nervous for Norwegian. It doesn't seem like they covered all their bases, and Disney is a HUGE company.
