Why did you not notify front desk that evidently someone smoked in the room and put the bag around the detector. That way the management could rectify the situation.

One of the problems with the baked Alaska parade in anytime dining is that the timing can be inconvenient. On one cruise, our waiter had just served our entrees when they dimmed the lights to begin the parade. I doubt they would have waited until we finished eating them even if we had asked.
I would think, that due to Covid, they would eliminate this due to the waving of the napkins. Personally I do not like everyone waving napkins that have wiped mouths and possible blown noses.

Just my opinion, I think it is all the people who book inside cabins. They are using the lounges as their "balcony".

you can only take 2 . Don't have to take all of them, I have a balcony and I took only 2. If you want the bev package take that and the internet ; you don't have to use it and there are no "tips" to add on that one.

Because I prefer the correct usage of a word, and differentiation between flip flop and sandal, I'm therefore a shoe snob? And where have I said no one should ever wear sandals? All I've said is that there is a difference between the 2, so a sandal is more appropriate for the MDR, given the current dress code. So how about you stop calling people names? By the way, however do you manage in cold weather? Isn't frostbite a concern since you can't wear a closed shoe? Or do you just add layers of socks with your sandals?
I am fortunate to live in the South West so I do not need to worry about frostbite. Was not name calling--just making a point.

I have a magnet that I have put on my door for every cruise I have been on. (and I have been on 20+ cruises, most of them with NCL) Because the doors are metal, this works out very well. They are very reasonable on the internet and you can customize them.

Seems mom says is a shoe snob. Some of us cannot wear closed in shoes for reasons and therefore we wear very attractive sandal/flip flops. What ever she wants to call them.

I do not understand why people feel they need to be "compensated" for everything. Read your cruise contract!!! S--t happens and not everything in life requires compensation. Always looking for something for nothing. JMHO And btw I have been on 20+ cruises.

My choice would be Canada/New England. Love all the stops in the Canadian Maritimes. Have been on the Pearl a couple of times and it is a very nice ship. Not been on the Joy so cannot say. It was originaly built for the Oriental market and then refurbed to suit the Am. market.

Del Rio is a joke! NCL has gone down hill since he took over. He is the one who should be keelhauled. jmho

Just washing your hands frequently with soap and water does the trick. Keep hands away from face and eyes. I have been on 30 + cruises and never gotten ill .

Taxies are expensive in HI. Airport to dock probably about $50-75. I would try Uber or Lift.

The small tails that are served are usually what are refered to as "rock lobster" or "spiney lobster". They are only good for tails.

Hate the new foremat. Stop messing with things. I cannot find anything anymore.

First cruise NCL MS Starward 1980! Went to Port Au Prince Haiti, and 2 stops in Jamica. That was before cruise ships had balconies.

http://www.discounthotelshawaii.com/waikikimap.html This site will give you a map of all the hotels in Waikiki. Just remember, hotels in Waikiki are very expensive. ($350 and up per night for the really good ones)

Hopefully Carnival will ban that entire family for life. (on any ship that falls under the unbrella of their brand)

I checked out some this morning. As far out as May 2019.

Most of the complaints about the service on the POA is due to the fact that the crew are American. As we all know they do not always have the incentive to work their hardest as the international crew members do.

My answer to all of these types of phone calls: If I do not know the number, I don't care where it comes from, I do not answer the phone. If it is important, they will leave a message.

Thanks for all the help

I am new to RCL and cannot find anywhere on the web site to print out my luggage tags. I have finished my on line check in and on other lines I have cruised, I could then print out my tags. Where on the web site do you find to print them out? I sent an e-mail to RCL but so far--no response. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have had the same PCC since 2009. He is SUPER and always calls me very quickly. I send an e-mail and he calls me. Knows all my likes and dislikes and always finds me the best deals available. Really happy with him.
