We have sailed on both the Oasis and the Breeze with kids. Prior to my Breeze cruise I had been on two older ships on Carnival and would not recommend Carnival over RCCL. BUT - the Breeze was a wonderful ship. The waterslides and other kids activities were fantastic. The Oasis is a beautiful ship with lots to do but I would not pay the price differential if choosing between the Breeze and the Oasis especially with kids.

I am on the December 6 Sunshine on a free casino cruise and tried to upgrade after final payment. Have spoken with Carnival multiple times (hoping for the answer I want) but have been unsuccessful in upgrading for the price it would have cost me if I had upgraded before final payment. Basically they will let me upgrade for the difference between the cheapest inside cabin and the current cost of the desired cabin instead of the modest cost increase that was offered while the promotion was still open.

This should be notarized. I have been asked for the form once but travelled with kids not my own more than once.

We were on the Breeze in March with that schedule and had hoped to explore after dark. Unfortunately, the port, other than a few restaurants, closes at dark and there is nothing to do. We ended up eating on the ship.

Strongly suggest the Ostrich farm. It was an absolute blast. Kids will love it too.
