  1. Thanks for sharing, I will be in the Summit this november and this is geat info to have!

Do you know if the wines listed in the tasting were available for purchse by the glass or bottle? I don't see them listed in the other menus and there are a few of my faves in the tasting. Thanks!

I did not ask but I drank many things not on that list. They seemed to have others hidden away that you could still buy by the glass.

  2. Thank-you OP for posting! Just one extra question: When ordering wine at Cellar Masters, did you encounter an issue where the requested listed wine was unavailable?

Most times no. They did run out of some that were more popular than they anticipated like my Sancerre. He subbed in very good other options.

  3. The bartender, on only two (2) occasions where there was a requested wine on the list, asked the guest to go to The Rendezvous to get it...

I would bet that were you a regular there, he would get it stocked.

    bon voyage

Oh Colin. He was awesome. I ma go by to miss him. He went searching for extra bottles of my wine when he ran out. I think Arie will be back next week since he only got pulled because they could not get employees from the Philippines could not leave because of the typhoon.

  4. Greatly appreciate you posting these. We are on the Summit for 14 nights, October 7, with no drink package:'). Fortunately, we are Elite so we will have some complimentary cocktail opportunities(breakfast and cocktail hour). Do you know if the Elite breakfast was a buffet or plated? THANK YOU!!

  5. That is what I was hoping for. Thank you for the quick reply.

I don't mind wearing formal clothing on Formal night - but long sleeve shirts every night would have been a bummer !!! :)

    8 days and counting !!!!!

Thank you again for your posting the sheets, and your quick reply.

  6. Does celebrity let you purchase for one person or must both people in cabin purchase? Looking to book the equinox on my summit cruise. I ran numbers and it cheaper since only I drink to buy the package for me separately and boom with no perks. If they don’t I will just book with classic. Thanks!

  7. We recently returned from a Celebrity Bermuda cruise and were lucky to have done a 5-hour tour with Lewis Fogg. Lewis really knows the island (and most of it's inhabitants)! He gave us a great tour of the island and made sure to include spots that were meaningful to us, including the Elbow Beach Hotel, where our SIL & BIL had honeymooned 60 years ago.

All 4 of us would highly recommend Lewis!

Hey do you remember how the seating was? Is it a mini van or a bigger van? Curious how many rows of seat

  8. The muster stations are typically on deck 4, right below the lifeboats on deck 5.

They try to assign passengers to muster stations located in the same general section of the ship as their staterooms, so they only need to go up or down to get to their muster station, not across from one end of the ship to the other.

If the parents are in one of the accessible staterooms in the middle of deck 6, close to the central elevators, I am guessing that their assigned muster station may well be the casino.

But before you start to get their hopes up, they should know in advance that all gambling is shut down during the muster drill. clear.png?emoji-wink-1685

We have noticed some passengers with disabilities being seated in a small lounge type area right at the entrance to the casino.

If you yourselves are assigned to a different muster station, there is absolutely no need for concern as the crew will take very good care of your bf's parents.

There are always lots of crew members stationed all around the ship who are very willing and eager to assist any passenger who may need help.

They are even eager to assist the passengers who need no help at all. clear.png?emoji-halo-1683

Thanks! They are on 6. I will be on the ship but we are on deck 2 so we will likely not be together for muster. I am just trying to make their first cruise as easy as possible.

  9. Appreciate the offer but I set sail Aug 12. Thanks! :)

Enjoy. She is my favorite ship. Side note the Frog and Onion in port has a brewery of local beers. We did flights right in the dockyard. I only had the porter but the guys had the flight of 6. They have a special not on the menu one they added for the 6th.

  10. You can get beer all over the summit. Depending on the package determines which ones are included. We had a beer drinker and he had beer at every bar including wine and martini bars. You will not have a problem with getting premium ones. He did have an issue in the main dining but that was a language barrier at first and he was fine after that. I know cellar masters has a page or two of beer options. Let me see if I have photos.
