We just did Odyssey of the Sea cruise on February 26th and did a private excursion with Gone Caribe. It’s a married couple who own it and we had the wife, Jessica showing us around. Just an awesome experience. I had given them an idea of our interests and they put together a wonderful itinerary. We enjoyed the lovely sights of the island on our way to the west side of the island. We snorkeled with the sea turtles in their natural environment at Playa Piskado, stopped at Santa Martha Bay, great stop at Playa Porte Marie for lunch, snorkeling and swimming. On our way back to port we did a stop for flamingo watching, then made our way to town and did a little walk on our way to the locks, Queen Emma floating bridge and the Rif Fort with Jessica sharing information along the way.
it was my favorite island and we couldn’t of asked for a better private tour with Jessica from Gone Caribe. We got to meet Jessica’s husband, Joseph when we stopped for lunch as he had another group out as well, that we had met the day before and they said Joseph was amazing as well. You can’t go wrong.
if you get a chance to visit this beautiful island I would highly look at booking a private excursion with Gone Caribe. I had actually first heard about Gone Caribe right here on Cruise critic.
Sincerely,
Joyce

Hi Bandjwayne
we are doing a private excursion with Rony's in March. He quoted a price and then I had to remind him what we wanted to do and he said did I include the botanical gardens in his quote. I said yes so I guess I will print off the email chains. We'd like to see sloths but not really into the cages. Were these in cages or more free roaming sloths?
Thank you an advance for any help.

If you have Royal app you should be able to see the menus already. We cruise March 14th & have viewed the dining room menus already. Have a great cruise.

Skateycat we opted to go to Gumbalimba Park as it looked like the monkeys and birds wouldn't kept in cages. We booked a private excursion with Rony's for this coming March and looking at the botanical gardens and chocolate factory also. We have two beach days on this cruise so that didn't interest us.

Travel Mom we are doing a private excursion with Rony's in March for a group of 9 & we're doing Gumbalimba as the animals don't seem caged. We are looking at other stops along the way and was wondering if you had any recommendations. We have 2 beach days already planned so didn't think we'd care to do another. Chocolate factory was a thought also. Would West Bay be close if we wanted to stop here. Thank you for any help you can give.

We sail March 14, 2020 and I called in on Thanksgiving and made reservations for all 5 shows. I was unable to do online but some in our group had no problem. I'm 100 days out as of today.

We are sailing March 14th 2020 & all my reservations for the shows have been made. I had to call Royal on Thanksgiving and got right through. I was able to see the show times on the app but I couldn't do reservations without calling. Others in my group were able to do on website.

Manawakie has updated their website and are showing a beach pool area. Is this on their property or is it somewhere else? This may be a good option for the entire day with our kids.
I think that it could be Gumbalimba Park with the pool & beach as I've been interested in visiting this Park and I seen this is available there.

We always do his private freestyle tour. I like to stop for random pictures. We also want to set our own schedule as we go. We pay him for transportation and then pay admission on our own. We've been touring with him so many years, I'm honestly not sure how he normally handles admission fees. I'm sure you have a memorable day!
Hello....Have you ever done Gumbalimba Park with Rony's. I'm looking at booking private tour with Rony's and interested in this Park. I was hoping to see and hold sloths but it doesn't appear that it's available at this Park. Reason for interest in Gumbalimba is that the birds and monkeys don't appear to live in cages. They have a bit more freedom to roam. TIA for any help you can offer.

This looks like a lot of fun. I don't have a lot of arm strength & was just wondering if the trikes are heavy & hard to handle. I've also never driven a motorcycle so wondering how hard this would be. TIA

I have done both with groups & loved both the Bar Hop & Mr Sanchos. That being said the Bar Hop is awesome as it is very social. Really met some wonderful people and they continued on with us at Carlos and Charlies. Have fun.

Could you tell me if they have the I spies through out the ship as they do on the Oasis? Glad you had a great cruise.

There is a pull off near a pond and the flamingos are there. They are not in captivity. Just roaming. I had seen others post about this so asked if we could stop. You are not up real close to them.
