Carnival is 'The Fun Ship"...but it is missing one thing
A no child under 18 area. Check out the 'Serenity' area on Splendor. A dining room that requires a tux or suit and ladies evening gown or dress. A elegant tea in a lounge with proper dress. Padded sun chairs. There are also in the Serenity area (green padding), and the regular deck chairs on the Splendor and some of the other ships going under drydock have a new chair style that is grayish mesh that I found quite comfortable. Splendour -- What we should Know???
Thanks for all the information. Extremely helpful. Was just in Riverside, CA a few weeks ago on Business. Love Southern Cal. Planning a trip next year to drive the coast from San Fran to LaJolla. One of my favorite places is Pacific Coast Hwy. Again, thanks.
No problem! Its the least I can do, helping out a fellow cruise! It really is the best place in the world down here in SoCal, not to be boastful or anything :p Have fun on Enchantment, she is a great ship, even though she is from RC :D

Splendour -- What we should Know???
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you sooooo much. Are there specific times for the Deli or Sushi Bar? Again, thanks.
Deli is 11am-11pm I wanna say Sushi was 1pm-5pm But they will both be listed in your Capers (and you can check out Zydeco cruiser's scanned capers, it should be there.) And pmp223, the pools are currently salt water. Although, John Heald [carnival senior cruise director], and pretty much everyone else that cruises carnival is pushing to make them fresh water.

    Carnival Splendor??
We were on the Miracle in June with a connecting door, we had a couch.
And now you see why I added a disclaimer :p I think it depends on the ship class, because I know I heard that before...

    Odd Question About Ship Announcements

The person making the announcement can choose whether just to send it to common areas of the ship (lido, decks, hallways) or into your cabins if it's an emergency type situation or something else serious is happening (immigration etc.) And yes, sometimes they hit the wrong button :p That's weird about your TV though, maybe there was a bug or something?

    Carnival Splendor??

OP: We were on the Splendor as well (pics in my signature), an dloved it! She's the biggest and the best :p The only problem I might see with your daughters is that the 15yo will be allowed into Club o2 (Tenn Club) but the 19yo will not.

    Carnival Splendor??
We just booked on Splendor and I just realized it was a cabin (only one on Port Side not sold), but it is a connecting Cabin. Do you know anything about these cabins? I am sure they are like the rest on a balcony but with a connecting door.
I'm pretty sure connecting rooms have a big chair instead of a loveseat/couch. (but I may be wrong..call 1-800-carnival to find out.)
