We flew into New York two days before the cruise and spent the days exploring New York. The 911 memorial was amazing! We rode the ferry to Staten Island to see the Statue of Liberty, that was cool. We spent some time in Central Park, and overall it was a good couple of days. We ended up buying stocking hats, because the wind and cold was brutal. We are the type of people who will make the best of a bad situation, as long as we are on vacation we are generally happy.
