We were in Bimini on Nov 12, 2023 on Celebrity. We got a good price on the Resorts World day pass through the cruise line and we were pleasantly surprised with how the day turned out after reading so many mediocre reviews. There's a shuttle at the end of the pier that makes a few stops but it was fairly quick and convenient. There are lots of beach chairs, though a bit tightly packed and a good amount of chairs around the pool. Unfortunately one of the pools was closed for a private function so the one open pool was pretty jam packed. You do get a free "rum" punch then have to pay for drinks after that. Though the prices were high for the cocktails (around $15) they were strong and tasty. We bought the pass with lunch included which we were glad we did because the food was expensive however if you are vegetarian there really aren't many options with the included lunch...we made do. Overall, we were very pleased with the day, if we go back to Bimini we would likely do this excursion again. If we are in Nassau again we will not get off the ship. Will it be easy enough to get Uber/Lyft from the port to Newark Penn that morning? There will be 6 of us. Would a car service be a safer bet?

Hi all, Thanks for the valuable info as usual Cruise Critic! We are scheduled to arrive at Cape Liberty from Bermuda at 7:00 am on Thursday, July 27 and would like to take the Amtrak from Newark Penn at 9:29 am, should we shoot for a later train or is this doable?

Thanks for posting, we had our MTD reservations for the week but didn't want to take a chance. It'll be a great trip regardless, it's nice to be cruising again.

We're on July 9th too, I just hung up from customer service to switch from MTD to the early seating. Early is 5:15 pm and late is 8:00 pm. Only the early seating is still available. We were on Mariner in April and saw extremely long lines of people waiting for MTD, I can't imagine how bad it will be on a ship as big as Allure.

Thank you for the update! The air conditioned jeeps were sold out but we booked the open air. Sounds like you had a great experience, we are looking forward to it!
