  1. Following.

We are sailing on Apex into PC from Southampton in Oct 2025, whilst we have visited all areas of Florida on multiple occasions, we have never visited The Space Ctr, so we would like to plan a visit but could be a issue with luggage ?

Then either transfer into Orlando and stay overnight for flight into London, or stay local to Space Ctr and transfer the following day, so we will be following this thread with interest.

  2. I will shortly qualify for Elite, however my partner is quite a few points behind me due to myself accumulating extra power up points during and after covid, would my travelling cabin partner whom would be accompanying me in H/H also have access to the complimentary drinks ?

  3. We are sailing on Infinity in June, and at the end of the cruise we have booked 3 nights at Aegina one of the Saronic islands.

Our ferry departs Gate 8 and depending on which Terminal A, B or C Celebrity use at Piraeus we plan on self disembarking to allow arrival at the Ferry Gate by 9.15am latest, the distance looks around 1 mile on Google Maps, maybe a bit nearer if Terminal A, so maybe walkable with luggage or otherwise taxi, anyone else had any experience of this process  ?

It is limiting cruise ships to 1200 passenger. The larger ships were viewed as having too much of a negative impact on the island and its land based tourists.

    Not true

  5. We visited for the first (and last) time on our last Celebrity cruise in April last year, it was bloody awful, we walked round for about a hour and we had seen enough, by far the worst port we have visited on our travels, we also had a snorkel trip in the afternoon which was nearly as bad.

i am sure there are some beautiful places to visit around the Bahamas but Nassau was definitely not one of them !

Yes I booked for my visit this coming April. My biggest concern is getting a taxi there & back. I did correspond with a taxi driver in Moorea & he assured me that there would be taxis available.

Have you contact details for the taxi you contacted please

This equates to approx £73 per person, taking into consideration the facilities, lunch and drink offer, I think this looks great value.

Do you have to pay in advance to secure the booking ?

I have e mailed resort and awaiting their response.

Can anyone review a recent visit ?

Thanks, would you mind sharing your experience after your cruise ?

We did Hawaii for our honeymoon, many moons ago 😂, and really enjoyed it. It wasn’t on a cruise, but island hopping to several of the islands.

I have also been watching the same TV programme, just a pity it’s now Susan doing the presenting a not Jane - each to their own, but she’s definitely not our favourite. However, the itinerary to French Polynesia looks fabulous. It may be worth considering that NCL offering if it’s more about the itinerary than ship.

That was our thoughts on the Norwegian Sailing, it’s all about the itinerary, first cruise with Norwegian so will keep a open mind, saying that my daughter sailed with Norwegian last year and had a great time, so we shall see

  11. The French Polynesian Islands have long been on our wish list, even though Celebrity has long been our preferred line, we couldn’t pass on a great offer we received to sail on one of the smaller Norwegian ships that offered the following itinerary in October this year :

    5 nights Hotel Oahu

    Maui overnight

    Kauai overnight

    Hilo

    Four Sea Days

    Rangiroa

    Bora Bora

    Raiatea

    Moorea

    Tahiti

Flights into Oahu and return out of Tahiti

    😊😊😊

I called today regarding a B4B, all in a PH on the Solstice, beginning March 15th, 2024. The concierge told me that there would be charges of a few dollars for the wines that have gone up in price. She told me that for the sailing that originates in Australia the PDP would cover up to $20 per drink. I didn't ask her if the drink prices were higher on that sailing. I let her know that I am having difficultly understanding how management could put in place small uncharges (that are financially trivial to Celebrity and their passengers) that are very upsetting to their highest paying customers. She said she would send a message to corporate express my feelings.

I also have a sailing on the Ascent this month - PH and RS with the grandkids. I'll see how that goes.

The limit is also raised to $20 for any departures out of the UK.

Just a check about not needing to apply for VISAS on the Celebrity  cruise from Singapore through to Japan   (March 4 2024).

    We are from UK.

As I understand it we do not need to apply ourselves for a visa in any of the places  - Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong  South Korea or Japan.

Is this what other Brits are thinking too?

    That’s also my understanding 👍

    So

On arriving at Taino Bay head left when you reach land

Hug the walkway keeping the ocean on your left

Go past the Big pool and Big Tiki bar

Keep to the left and when you see a large bridge over the lazy River

Take a left into the island 🏝️ surrounded by the lazy River

Here you find day beds and cabanas that unlike Royal charge $499 per day to utilize here they are FREE

Nice shade and there is a bar and food places within small walking distance

Once when there all they asked was you purchased a drink of any kind

Don't tell too many people, as like anything, it won’t be a hidden gem for long 😉

    Nancy 🍹

Chris - Hope you had a nice relaxing spa day 👍🏻

We enjoyed our recent visit to this port, I agree that the Cruise Port set up was tastefully done, we also incorporated a walk into town to sample the real local culture which is definitely worth doing, I have attached a few photos.

  15. I have a Asia Cruise booked March 2025, within the Plan my Cruise section, you can book/upgrade drink packages, excursions etc, but no options yet for specialty restaurant bookings/packages, is there a consistent period pre cruise when this feature will be released for purchase ?
Thanks in advance for any feedback
