They just changed our cruise from Bonaire to Curaçao….. they are in the same category. I wonder if I will be going anywhere at this point !

It was not dropped for all, just for some.

We lost Grand Turk for La Romana, we lost Bonaire for Curaçao and we lost Half Moon Cay for Amber Cove. This was our first time purchasing cheers. 
Editing to add : honestly, if you look at the state department travel advisory…I will be surprised if we even get to these ports ! Check it out !

BEST itinerary ever ! We did it 4 times in a row ! 4 different ships ! 

I’m frustrated because I paid extra for the “free cheers package” on top of a cruise I feel I paid more for because I choose ports over ship ! I understand the need to shuffle ports…but to lose 3 out of 4 without compensation…that’s what pisses me off ! Carnival…look at my signature …always loyal to you ! Now help me out here ! 

It doesn’t matter if they are open….Carnival just changed 3 out of 4 ports on my 8 day Freedom cruise in October !  One of which is Half Moon Cay !

I completely agree with you on that one ! 

I would much rather a sea day than La Romana…I chose that port once…and once was enough. I’ve decided to sit tight…see if it changes again. 

Don’t pull ships that are already planned for Half Moon Cay to make room for new ships ! That’s just stupid. Find some place else to send them ! I’m beyond mad at this point. Masks…testing and now only 1 port out of 4 being original !  

With my itinerary being so radically changed today, I’m about to pull the plug as well. So disappointed that they pulled Half Moon Cay. I could have dealt with the other changes. Out of 4 ports only Aruba remains. I get that the island situation is fluid but they should have changed it before final payment or pushed it back. 

I’m okay with Amber Cove, never been. But I dislike La Romana ! I booked this for Half Moon and I wish they could have managed to save it ! Not an equitable itinerary change in my opinion. Add Curaçao into the mix….I’m underwhelmed ! 

Our cruise totally changed. Freedom in October was supposed to be Aruba, Bonaire, Half Moon and Grand Turk ! Now it is Aruba, Curaçao, La Romana and Amber Cove ! 
To me, this is not worth the high cost of this cruise !! I hate La Romana and I didn’t care for Curaçao! 
Geesh…what to do …what to do ! I’m very unhappy ! 

I got the Hub app in the Android Play Store. Easy to download and set up.  Hope you can find it there ! 

My last cruise in 2019 was those awful cookie straws ! I would bring your own to be safe ! 

To me the gift is a bonus. I appreciate the party, the laundry and the priority line for customer service and tenders ! Like above has said …. Pass it on and enjoy your cruise ! 

Carnival tips are $13.99 per person per day except suites which is $15.99 per day per person. This paltry 14.00 a day is split several ways …I have included a screen shot off Carnivals website. Stewards split their small share with an assistant, if they have one ! 

I got this email back in May 2021. I think the reason I got it is because it’s an 8 day cruise. When the conditional sail order was first issued, no cruises longer than 7 days were allowed. 
Sorry for the confusion. 

On your itinerary …look for excursions titled “ bubble tour” ! They should show up in each port. They might not be out for December yet. 

I have an email from Carnival saying I may cancel my October cruise without penalty up until my final payment date….which is next week.

I hope I’m not being obtuse here…. Last time we cruised was Oct. 2019. Do I have to wait to input all of our passport, flight credit card etc information now ? I went to do it today for our Oct 2021 cruise and it’s not there !

I would carry on a bag with my dress clothes for the steakhouse. This will ensure you have what you need and probably make you luggage arrive early 🤣

Trippingpara, I just found this and read it all the way through. Very riveting ! Hubby and I are leaving very soon and even though this will be our third time doing this itinerary ( in a row) on three different ships, your review and photos have me giddy to do it all over again. This time, I took notes on new things to do and places to eat. So thank you again ! My hubby would just adore doing all the snorkeling and the scuba but I am like Tripette only a huge chicken and am afraid of fish and other sea going creatures :eek:
