We are sailing with RCL in June from Barcelona.

Can anyone let me know whether the Arc La Rambla hotel is anywhere near the port?

I have heard that there are shuttle buses but unsure whether we can get these if we dont pay for transfers.

My OH and I have just booked cabin 1000 (only cabin left in that grade) on Brilliance but I am now a bit worried about getting sea sick.

We have cruised before and I havent suffered (except when it was v choppy). We are going to the Med at the end of June so hopefully wont be too bad but has anyone any feedback of this cabin?

I am torn between decks 7 or 8 e2 or e3 balcony cabins. Are both obstructed by the lifeboats? Any advice appreciated

I would appreciate your opinions on HAL and in particular the Veendrm.

My DH has suggested taking me on a cruise for my 40th next year and HAL visits a place I have always wanted to visit (Charlottetown) and appears to be the only one that does at the time of my birthday.

Neither of us are party animals but like good food wine and entertainment and good company.

What is the age demographic on this ship and what do you think??

We have sailed on Sea Princess (loved it), P&O Ventura (loved the ship and the staff just really unruly passengers spoilt it!) and MSC (hmmm an ok experience)
