WOW!! I was really enjoying this thread until the last 2 posts. I'm in shock and hoping that Celebrity will do some compensation for changing so much of your cruise. For B2B passengers this must be such a let down. We're taking this same cruise in January and sure hope things get resolved!! Thinking of you, Gail:(

I have sailed on Celebrity Cruises many times. I'm currently Elite Plus and will be sailing again on Celebrity in January. I am thinking of booking the Azamara 2016 Norway Fjords cruise. If I book this Azamara cruise while on a Celebrity cruise, will I receive the 7% discount? Thanks in advance for any help. Gail

In addition to all the above posted perks, getting priority tendering is a huge benefit when the ships are unable to dock. It saves so much time and takes away lots of the tendering pain.

Hi Gail, If you are planning on Langkawi for January 30, I have just called Celebrity. They have told me that we are set to go to Penang rather than Langkawi. Sure makes it hard to plan when their web site is so inconsistent.

My husband and I have been long time Celebrity cruisers, but we were seriously thinking of booking the Norway Fjords cruise in 2016. Silly us, to anticipate all the great new benefits that we would have on Azamara. Wonder if they made this announcement on a holiday so that no one could call to complain. Bet none of their office staff will want to come back to work on Tuesday!:rolleyes:

Once you're assigned, if you aren't thrilled with the location, keep an eye out for open suites and you can ask to move.:)

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at Boogaards B&B. Great owner, lots of charm in the rooms, and Peter is a great cook. If you would enjoy a B&B, and able to climb a flight of stairs, I highly recommend this place in a very convenient location.:)

On one of our past cruises, on disembarkation, another couple accidentally took our luggage. We figured this out a few hours later when there was just luggage for one couple on the dock. The cruise line was able to track down that couple - who were on the way to the airport. At the airport, the cruise line representative got our luggage and returned it to the port. It was a long wait, but we finally got it back. So, I'd suggest seeing if there is any left over luggage from your cruise. Hope this works. Gail

I'm sure excited. I live in Southern California so just booked the California Coastal cruise for March 29. It's spring break for my grandkids so we invited them and our daughter and SIL to join us. Sure is easier than flying to Florida and taking a 7 day cruise with just 3 ports. I'm REALLy happy!! Gail:D
