Honestly, these stupid frivolous lawsuits are the reason why most lawyers are very wealthy and the costs on everything go up so much.

Yes, they have a really good escape room on deck 14- its called Mission control\Apollo 18. You can book it ahead of time, it pops up when the shows open up for reservations. There are usually a lot of times available since it's an actual, permanent room, unlike the ice skating and laser tag that all share the same room
Thank you. I will definitely try to book. I keep checking for shows. I'm 5 weeks out. My kid's are great at escape rooms. I suck at them. Lol

Oh thanks. I didn't remember seeing it last year.

I didn't think that oasis has an escape room.

I realize this is probably overkill, but I have about 2-3 different reminders in various places (PC, phone, calendar, etc.) of when final payment is due for any booked cruises. And then I pay about 7-10 days early.
There's really no excuse for missing it..
Me too. I put it as a reminder in 2 different calendars.

OK, we are old me 86 her 84 we will be on the WONDER in Nov. celebrating our 66th annv. with our kids & other family members. My question is seeing that we are not able to get around so good( we dont plan to get off the ship ) & all the kids will be on the cruise the 1st week & we are planning to stay on board for anther week ( to rest up ) What on the ship, including shows should we not miss or anything else going on. We have been on over 100 cruises but never on the Wonder (remember we are OLD )

I can't help you. Haven't been on that ship, but you are fantastic! The fact that you're online is great. My husband, who is 20 years younger, still has a flip phone. LOL

Yes, prices are crazy. We booked 2 connecting Central Park balconies last June 2022 for August 2023 and the price is more than double what I paid and there aren't any connecting CP balconies available.

For your information the “panicky” cruiser has sailed 45 cruises. This happens to be a family reunion with much work done to make it special, so a grandchild’s expired passport for did cause “panicl
All the more reason to make sure that everyone has all documents up to date, etc. so they don't miss the family reunion.

Frequent cruisers have to fit in passport renewals in between cruises, resulting in short windows of opportunity.Totally understand that but I'll bet the panicky posters are not frequent cruises.

Interesting that you know what "most people are thinking" and that "everyone waits till the last minute."
For many people, the much longer time for even the expedited process has come as a surprise - it used to be 3 weeks and now it's around 2 months. I guess that's partly to do with COVID backlogs and high demand with people resuming travel.
In my case, I was just about to send mine in to be ready for a trip next autumn when my son's family found a last minute deal on a June Alaska cruise and I wanted to join them.
When I was working, international trips were frequent enough that it was sometimes hard to find a window to send it in and it was always possible that a sudden need for a trip would come up so I always used an expediter to have my passport out of my hands only briefly.
If you read these boards often there are alot of people posting g about panicking about expired and lost documents. There are so many posts about the passport process in the last couple of years and the backlog and how Long it takes. It shouldn't be a surprise to people if they read these.

No you are not being rude. Sometimes teenagers are a little lax.
Don't I know! and mine are 30 and 25.

That is the downside of getting the dining plans. Can't make reservations until you board.
-
I'm not trying to be rude, just saying what I think most people are thinking.
Why does everyone wait till the last minute to apply for passports and/or check what documents they need to travel with?

We went to Junkanoo last August and plan to go back this August. It is a decent beach close to the port. From what I've read, a couple of the beaches do not even have restrooms.

No shows to book. I *think* the Escape Room was $19 p/p. I don't recall seeing it in the cruise planner, but it was available to book in the app once onboard.
I went on navigator about a month ago. I did book and pay for the escape room before boarding. I can't remember if it was on the app or online though.

Whether one should “expect” it or not, Royal IT systems are a crapshoot and many issues that shouldn’t be, are. The inconvenience of having to call got one problem fixed. You made the assumption that you were switched to MTD. Based on your post, the phone rep merely stated that the late seating time had changed.
I'm not going to go back and forth but my post was about the rep not wanting to give me the obc even after i spoke to him not an IT glitch.

They were $16 per person per day on the Navigator about a month ago, so I assume it's the same unless you're in a suite.

You're complaining about a favorable resolution to your issue? What do you really expect?
I expect it not to be an issue in the first place. That's what I expect.

They do have traditional dining. It has changed and is n ow at 7:30
Thank you. That's all I was trying to confirm.

Nothing to get worked up about. You got your OBC, it looks like you have MTD at 7:30, they probably don't currently have traditional 8:00 openings, maybe they will waitlist you. If not, 30 minutes isn't a big deal.
Shouldn't have to call to get the OBC reinstated.
Not getting worked up. I booked traditional 8 late dining over a year ago, so should not be waitlisted. Not waiting on line for MTD.

Seating times vary by ship.
I just checked and yes the Oasis has switched to a 7:30 late dining time for sailings from Bayonne in 2023
Thank you for those that responded that late traditional dining moved from 8 to 730.
And thanks to all those rude responders. Yes, understand it's only 1/2 hour but didn't want MTD and I do expect that if I booked over a year ago I will get my first choice. I don't care that it moved to 7:30.
And as far as the on board credit, yes, it got fixed. Sorry, but I shouldn't have had to call to get it reinstated.

My daughter and I sailed on Navigator out of LA in April. They sat us at a table for 8 and we met some nice people to talk to. I can talk to my daughter any time. LOL
