Just off the QOS and hated DD. We will be on the FOS in April I think I remember reading somewhere that FOS was going DD after dry dock. If this is true would like to find out before final payment so we can cancel.

I think RCCL needs to change their name to ALC (a la carte) . What's next a charge for life boats? the nickel and dime cruise line could be the new motto.

What will the QOS be doing until 11/18 I did not see any cruises on the schedule?

Have you read any of the reviews about Dynamic Dinning and the menu changes?

Not too happy about this already. They want us to book ahead and then are changing the menu when that is what we base our decisions on. Turkey instead of Lobster yeah that seems fair.

On the BOS 9/21 they did not have priority for us D+ either. We waited in dining room dismissed with everyone else. Do you see this has a teend?

Can you book three people and then after a little while drop the 3rd person?

Just looked at a 7 day Alaska JS is about 6800 I think I will wait until after their sale. We have done this trip twice and one was a 14 day ans=d we did not pay this much. Wonder what RCCL thinking?

I usually request a table for 2 when booking the cruise and then send a reminder to the head of the dining room. We are not antisocial but just like to have nice meal by ourselves. Thanks

Looking to change my cabin on the BOS I am looking at cabin 9654 but says it is an obstructed view. The balcony looks big was just wondering how much of an obstruction there is. Thanks for your help.

Totally agree with everything you said. Royal is looking to attract the first time cruisers and their friends and families. There are too many people in an entitlement mode both on this board and onboard.

I don't feel like I am entitled I just like and appreciate what RCCL has given us.

I realize that they are after new cruisers and families. We usually cruise 5 to 6 times a year and usually in JS, so my point is shouldn't RCCL be able to entice new cruisers and also remember the loyal cruisers. I would think that as a company they would want to do both. We will never reach the top tier but just enjoy cruising and love it. Diamonds in December was great would be nice to have something like it again.

We live in NE Pa. about 30 miles from the New York border. So we will going up to Albany and getting on 90 so we will not be going to New York City.

I have never tried hotwire before but I am going to this time, we usually leave out of Baltimore and Bayonne and have our favorite hotels. If we got to the hotel early maybe we could go into Boston for a while, we have been on a couple fall cruises that stop in Boston but our friends have never been there and would like to see Quincy Market. Just looking at the map a friend of ours said to go that way but my husband said no we will be using I90. I like your suggestions and will look into these hotels the prices are a lot better than I saw for Boston. Thanks so much you really are a great help.

Thank you for your quick reply. We really don't want to spend a lot for the night before but not knowing the area wasn't sure where would be the best location to get easily to the port. We will be coming up on I93 and just looking for a nice hotel and an easy quick drive to the port.

We will be sailing out of Boston on 9/21/2014. I don't know the area at all but trying to find one that is close to the port. We would drive up the day before and stay overnight. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I am trying to find out the amount of down payments needed for an 11 day cruise. I have tried to book one but it says 900.00 is that correct? Is there a table available with the different payments I could not find it.

Just looking at the new dining venue. I am wondering if they will enforce the formal dining attire in the formal dining restaurant because they sure do not on formal evenings in the MDR. Just wondering how this is going to work. Just seems like a lot time and effort to plan and reserve every supper, I love the MDR simple and easy.

We are wintering in Galveston we have been watching all this going on.

We have never been to Galveston before we live on Pa so this is new to us.

I think RCCL handled the refunds and credits very nicely and quickly. But I do think that when they cancelled the sailing they should have added that if anything changed they would do a shorter cruise. I think they did jump the gun, but I think they did a fair compensation.
