That's the name they gave me and actually already had that name. And an Angela Northcutt is a partner they said.

I actually got in touch with a human @ PCL who was quite helpful and she gave me two names, both of which I've used before so it was a SCORE!

I am setting up our roll call group for Regal Nov 13 sailing and not having much luck using a couple previous contacts for a referral to the approp person. Does anyone have any current info for this ship contact person?

Thanks!

And you will have lots of sun and wind and sand in your face! [emoji13]

Word to the wise....I would bring a bandana and tie around my head like the motorcycle folks do! There's a reason they do that.....sun wind bugs sand etc. also go to dollar store and get a sunglass string thingy. Extra security for shades.

So should we drop one pax @ the pier with all junk and the others go to garage, park and come meet me/us @ the BVE area?
-
Anyone bid/booked Riverside Hotel?
Sorry for mid Nov. 11/12 to be specific.

I am taking my niece to the BVE in November on the Regal. She lives in WPB and is going to drive down, meet us @ airport and surprised my daughter. We are staying @ a hotel overnite then will drive to port.
My question is this....does anyone know if there is a lot or section of lot designated to park for BVE guests? Is there a charge? It seems I saw signage for BVE near the front entrance when she dropped me curbside in Feb but we didn't do BVE then.
I know in houston/Bayport there was a small lot away from the cruise lot and there was no charge for it since folks would be gone in a few hours.
Thanks!

Oh and DUH....the site said they would drop you off to shop in St P or return to ship. About 15" walk to ship from shopping area or $3pp cab fare.

It's been 20 plus years since I've been to St M so doing my own research for our Nov cruise. Looking @ a tour that does all these things, has good reviews and is about 4-5 hrs. Cost is $45 during our season. I believe it's called shoreexcursioneer.com. They're on TA and also on some other review sites.

You don't have to drink on the bar hop, or you can get something non alcoholic. The east side of the island is really pretty and unspoiled and the CBH is a great way to see it.

Hey Fig....we're still on the fence about this but most likely will do this one. Not sure on vendor yet.
-
And yes the gal had a minivan as I recall. She brought us back also.
-
They met us outside the terminal with a sign and a logo tshirt on. It's very congested and crowded and it's a ways walk to the outside of the pier so you must persevere. [emoji13]

Not to my knowledge/experience. They offer Yoga/Spin and some ships have TRX.

I just bought the Fuji X90 I believe it's called. Costco has them on sale for $150 and inc battery, both straps and cable and a memory card (16G as I recall). So far I've plowed thru part of the set up instructions. I had to do a YouTube search for how to attach the basic strap since the picture in the book didn't match the camera geography. If the rest of it goes no better, it'll get returned to costco. They currently have the Oly TG-4 on sale for about $270 or so but didn't really want to spend that much on something to mainly use UW snorkeling and beach etc. I have a decent Panasonic PS I'm happy with plus a Nikon bridge camera.
Anyone have this Fuji or any of its cousins?

We would really like to take our son (12 1/2) to see the falls but I am concerned if I am capable. I am 54 but fluffy ;) I am worried about stepping up high and of hurting myself. You mention you are in your 50's. Do you mind sharing your fitness level?
Click on JT1962. He answers your question very well I would say and he did this recently with his daughter.

And BTW it was one of THE best excursions ever but I was the backseat driver/photographer. [emoji13]

Ahhhh road grime. Brings back déjà vu of our Trikes in Aruba tour couple years back while doing PC cruise! We were sooooo filthy by time we got back to the ship!
-
Great review. Only other question is cost per person?
-
Thanks for the info. All 3 of us are in decent shape and working to get into better shape over the next 5 months before we cruise! [emoji13]. What kind of footwear did u have? I just watched a video on iguana mamma and these rocks look slippery and all folks are wearing helmets and life jackets. Also assume if you bring a camera, it needs to be the waterproof variety. My daughter has a GoPro but km more the point and shoot waterproof Fuji kinda gal!

Following thread for info for our mid Nov cruise on Regal Princess. Could some of the above posters say what they paid for the excursions and what kind of food they ate? Are there any concerns here about water or fresh vegetables? I've never been to DR so that's why I'm asking.
Thanks.

Can't find where the Regal will dock mid November. I was on the Royal late Feb and not sure where we docked! Had to take a bus to get to downtown area and there was another Port area across from the downtown area.

Anyone recently on the Regal? Just curious what the pay classes are and how much. In Feb/March on the Royal you had to buy a package of Yoga/spin and maybe TRX and they were only offered on sea days I think.
