Windstar Creates New Management Team Roles

Windstar Cruises announced today it has set a growth course by having appointed a vice president of human resources, a new position for the small-ship operator. In addition, the line recently hired three individuals with maritime and travel industry expertise into newly created positions to build out its Technical Operations and Deployment Departments. As well, the company has recognized several tenured employees within its Human Resources and Logistical Operations departments with promotions and added responsibilities.

We were on the Summit in May and thought the Tuscan Grill was GREAT!!

Me and my BF are booked on on the Silhouette for the Feb. 19th cruise. Hope to meet up with others! Let me know if you are on the cruise.

It was there in February

Last week on the Summit I got the rose and the coupons. I enjoy the elite's 30 free items washed more then I would the coke and cookies. Plus almost everyone has at least the classic drink package which gives you all the cokes you want.

Make sure to make a reservation for the time you want before the cruise. On the Silhouette in February we were told that the only Select Dining times left were 6:30-6:45 or 8:00 and after. Otherwise you have to stand in line or they will give you a pager.

As an Elite on a 7 day cruise I receive one bag no more then 30 items. You had to have it turn in before the last 3 days of the cruise.

I have never had to wait outside in the weather. I think that must have been an exception when something went wrong. Plus people never write about when everything goes right. FYI, my BF and I are on the same cruise on 2/14!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone! My boy friend and I will be on our 3rd Celebrity cruise, we spend a lot of time at the Martini bar. It's a great place to meet up with people.
