Hmmm... I always thought that was true, but I've read a couple of posts where people say it varies ship to ship... if you book in advance, all must purchase, but onboard, revenue has some latitude to sell to one only.
As a non-drinker, I'm glad to hear this. I'm sure they make exceptions for those who are pregnant, but there are many who don't drink for other reasons (health, religion, recovery) yet don't want to limit their cabin mates from being able to order the package.

Just take a letter from your doctor, certifying you are unable to drink for whatever reason, and you will be excluded from purchasing a package. ;)

We've stayed at the Radisson before, and it was ok. This year we're trying the Residence Inn, which is also right by the port.

Has anyone paid the $22 to participate in the cupcake decorating class? Realizing that everything is a bit overpriced, was it worth it?
I sure did! I'm sure it will be worth it, spending quality icing time with my DD! :p

Fascinating; thanks! ;)

Our adult daughter has autism, sensory integration disorder and Tourette Syndrome, and the muster drill is by far the most stressful event for her. However, it is necessary, so we talk about it (social stories!) frequently before we go, and the staff has, for the most part, had a fair understanding of her needs. This time, we will be trying her iPod with ear buds during the drill to help mask the loud sounds that bother her so much. We'll see how it goes. ;)

Hi everyone,
Just a few random questions.
5. Does anyone know / is there a way of finding out what movies will be shown on pool deck prior to the cruise. Not been on a cruise in a while and this looks to be a great addition. Love the thought of chill-axing under the stars with a beer watching a good film !!
Here's a list of flicks that were on the Big Screen on the 10/13/13 FOS cruise (per the Cruise Compasses):
The Wizard of Oz
Kelly Clarkson
Man of Steel
Just For Laughs
Superbuddies
Many thanks for any help in answering any of the above questions
Kind regards
Ian
Hope this helps.

We like playing dress-up, too. :p
But we don't care if it's not everyone's cup of tea, either. ;)

Actually, here is the link to my photo stream for compasses:

For the alcohol menu (pictures taken with Fuji FinePix X60 for the menu):
Awesome! Just what I needed to get me through the next 4 weeks before heading out for a little Freedom for our family. Thank you so much! :):p

Start to finish, one of the best reviews I have read in a long time. I would love to cruise with you and your wife - we have a lot in common (right down to the somewhat corny improvised lyrics!) I just posted one to the tune of Jingle Bells, myself...see below.
Thank you for taking the time to share your vaycay with us!!

To the tune of Jingle Bells:
Cruise ship horns,
Cruise ship horns,
Cruise ships all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to cruise,
On any random day-ay!
Cruise ship horns,
Cruise ship horns,
Cruise ships all the way!
Oh, what fun it is to cruise,
On any random day!

(I'm available to change any holiday song to something more palatable around these parts.) :p:eek:

That looks wonderful on you! I've always loved the tumbling blocks design. ;)

Fantastic! thanks for the info!!:)
I just found this thread, too...amazing idea! I'll be going through my closets; I've always wondered if "donated" items ever actually made it to someone who really wanted/needed them. Now I will know. :p

Merky - Such lovely dresses. Wish I'd logged on sooner. :p

There are tons (well, maybe not tons - but a lot) of pix out there. I've been looking at them, too. :p Here' a link to some of them. Hope this at least gets you started.

Mike,
Your review just keeps getting better; it's almost like actually being there with you guys! Can't wait for my turn in December. ;):p

...What happens to those people? ....
One thing's for sure: They'll be enjoying a new mode of transportation to their final destination, wherever that might be.

OMG, that sounds bad:eek: Why bother "cooking" it at all.......
We've had great filet's and steaks at Chops for years, no complaints so far.
Hahaha...DH and I always order ours "grazing on the plate." :p

Maybe it's me,but that cake looks pitiful.......they did a much nicer one for the last Sovereign cruise..
Couldn't agree more! Maybe they'll let me help out with the Majesty cake when the time comes? I have a wonderful portfolio, and I'd be willing to make it for a trade: sweet for suite??? Just sayin'.... lol :p

I love this stuff. Very cool - thanks!! ;)

I haven't read the other responses, but we like the aft cabins because there is very little foot traffic. They are very quiet and peaceful, and the balconies are generally much, much larger (deeper.) :p
