$19/hour the link claims! Is that during normal day hours as well? I thought it was free during day hours but after 10 or 11pm you were charged
That link is for in-room sitting. The only kids care program that comes with a charge is Royal Toys (at least it was when we had our 2 year old in there on Oasis in 2014).

Going on Oasis in a few weeks and I would like to utilize the Royal Tot's nursery a few times. My son just turned 2 last week and will not even go into a daycare at the gym. I am a stay at home mom and he tends to stay with me for everything. I believe he would go in the daycare if the workers would give him attention and distract him (unlike my gym). I heard they are great with the kids. Has anyone else had any experience with their children not liking royal tots or liking it when they do not like other places? Also how do they call you if your child is crying uncontrollably?
Our DD was just over 2 when we went on Oasis last year.
The staff there is great. There's plenty to do, and will do their best to keep your little one happy. They'll give you a cell phone to keep in touch just in case. Just keep in mind that at that age, you're paying ($8/hr i think) for daycare service. When he turns 3, it's included.

I thought everything clears off the website a few days before the trip?
Don't worry, just bring your paperwork just in case.

We bring the big diaper genie bags and the scented bags. Throw the really bad ones in the scented bags then into the genie. The wets we pretty much just put in the genie bag. Our room steward appreciated it!

Its $20 an hour for two crew members, not AO staff. They'll sit there and play with your little one
You're better off putting them in royal tots/ AO if its available.

We'll be visiting my in laws before our cruise, and are trying to find a reputable service to get us across the state. Any suggestions? My Google search comes up with a few less than stellar companies. Thanks!

Here's my amazon holders with the (free) RCCL provided tags my cvp emailed me.

You can also ask your CVP to email you a color PDF of your tag already filled out. Just print and attach. I got my tag holders on Amazon.

Cool to watch - thanks for sharing.

I could really go for one right now! Or maybe a blue Monday would be more fitting lol.
Agreed. I drink Labadoozies like they're water. We'll have to meet up and get a few in April ;)
-
They also have the current promotion running. Talked to a CSR earlier - she said they've been slammed all day.
-
Watched you come in tonight in the storm. How was the ride in?
-
Their cruise is 2/9, so it's past final payment date. Upgrade!
-
Great review! We're staying there pre and post cruise in April. Did you notice any other "kid friendly" restaurants in the area?
Thanks again!

I'd stay where you are, closer to the hump. Easier access to the MDR, and central on the ship.

Lee, I think they make an exception if your little one is under 2 and in a pack-n-play. We were in a 2 person js the last two trips when our dd was under 2.

A little known secret - call and ask a cvp to email you a luggage tag. They're a nice color tag with all your info that you can print and attach how you like.

Its ok. What I really miss are the chicken drumettes that use to be available through room service. A few plates of those really hit the spot while relaxing on my balcony after a night of partying!

There actually is good snorkeling out under the zipline, but when I got out that far I had a safety officer on a paddle board tell me to swim closer.

Marine Traffic is showing it docked… not sure if that is accurate. Doesn’t seem to be moving… I didn’t know there was a dock down that far.
There's a point (i think) that speed can't be tracked and it shows docked. On Port Fever youtube vid, Freedom just pulled up to the same dock and used the pods/thrusters to keep her in place vs. throwing lines.
-
Anyone else think the way they are approaching and docking is strange. Looks like they tried to turn around and couldn’t. Not sure what they are doing now.
After looking at a weather station at the port, there's no wind. Docking any boat at night is tricky, let alone a ship FOS's size!

On a happier note - Royal's ships look great all lit up at night!

No, there is not - and there's really no good snorkeling there either.
Years ago, I brought my own stuff and went off adrenaline beach under the zip line. When I got out far enough, there were some gorgeous reefs - but a life guard on a paddle board turned me around.
