great review i just have 1 question at the breakfast buffet do they have kippered salmon on it?

OP here.. We all know everyone’s opinions are different and that’s fine. I never said he didn’t want to cruise on the Bliss. He just has concerns about the activities that would appeal to him. Yes he’s been on a lot of cruises but that shouldn’t make any difference. He’s a good kid who is not rebellious and he doesn’t just think of himself. He also knows that the go karts and laser tag cost money and he doesn’t want us to have to spend a lot of money doing that. I just wanted to see if others with teens had the same concerns but I feel that that got lost. It’s all good. I will just wait to see once kids have finally been on the ship to see if we should cancel or not.

Staying at the Vanderbilt on full power getting ready to get on the ship this morning

just got a call from the hotel fairy ( manager) at the vanderbilt who said they had a room for us on the 17th of nov. its more than i would normally spend but beggars cant be choosers. we are now booked.

We were booked through Southwest (booking.xxx) they sent an email on 10/28/17.

was that the mirimar hotel or the marriott mirimar hotel?

We have broke down and are flying direct from Kansas City on 11/18. We arrive in San Juan at 3:25. I don't know which is scarier, staying overnight in the airport or flying in the day of the cruise.

i asked about a day pass they said the pool is closed until further notice.

i spoke to the hotel they are closed until at least nov 7th

ok i thought i would be able to go to the intercontinental and do a massage and pool day before our plane ride home just call and they are not offering it. so now i an scrambling to figure out an alternative so i'm not sitter in the airport for 6 hrs does anyone have a suggestion?

we still have a reservation at the condado plaza hilton for 11/17 i checked it with them a couple of days ago and its still good online i got my fingers crossed.

We were also told suites were out of their cost range so booked suite with our travel partners at AC Marriott for 11/23-24. Had one of my co-workers who is from Puerto Rico call and verify our reservation is good. Will re-verify again when we are 2 weeks out. American Airlines totally removed our original flights this past Monday. They sent an email to our travel partners that their flights (from Dallas) were changed. We are from Oregon. No notice. I checked their website and our entire reservation was gone with a note to call American. Everything is now re-set for all of us and we are looking forward to taking off for DFW early morning (12:30 AM) on 11/23, meetings our friends and heading to San Juan. This will be a trip to remember. That is for sure. We LOVE LOVE LOVE San Juan. Have cruised from there many times on Adventure and Jewel and totally look forward to being there a few days pre-cruise. BTW our original hotel reservation was at Condado Plaza Hilton which got cancelled about 2 weeks ago. Bottom line is to always have a plan B. :-) I will be SO happy when they open that aircraft door in San Juan and the heat and humidity hit me!!! We will know we have arrived!!! Looking forward to a great B2B cruise (again) with our friends from Texas.

Intercontinental did call and cancel us today even though we spoke to them on Monday and they told us they were open. Now they say December 31 - in any event we were able to directly contact the Doubletree San Juan and were able to get confirmation from them that they are open and taking reservations. We booked for Sunday Nov 26 and it was I believe $219...

what # did you call i tried 3 different #s with no ans. at any of them

thats what happened to my jet blue flight down. they cancelled my flight to sju on 11/17 they said they had to cut down on flights do to maria. what a load of b.s. i was able to rebook on united for the same day of course more it was more money. so i put in a claim on my insurance
