  1. I highly recommend an aft facing balcony on deck 9. They have the largest balconies. But it does depend on which things are important to you. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. I got my declination a little while ago for my Sunday cruise. It was in my SPAM folder [emoji35] Sent from my iPad using Forums
  3. I have a bid on an aft penthouse for a September cruise. Many others on my cruise have received acceptances for their bids, but they are mainly insides to oceanview or balconies. Is it typical to have the suites be re-assigned later? Also, when I do a fake booking, all suites are sold out, but on my bid page I still have the option to bid on all of them. Anyone have a similar experience? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  4. My husband and I saw him in January 2015 and also became fans. I really hope he comes back. Sent from my iPad using Forums
  5. Anyone happen to know when Les Getrex will be back on Breakaway. We have 2 trips planned (Sept '17 and Jan '18) and really hoping to see him again! Sent from my iPad using Forums
  6. I'm going on a 10 day Panama Canal cruise aboard the Coral in April. I'm trying to decide on dining options and I noticed on some Patters that were posted from the ship last fall that it was only offered one time. Is that typically how it works? I would appreciate any feedback from recent Coral cruisers. Thank you!! Sent from my iPad using Forums
  7. Can anyone say how many formal nights are on a 10 day Panama Canal cruise? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  8. Thank you everyone for your responses! Unfortunately, the sip and sail promo was not available for my cruise. I monitored prices closely, and I did manage to get a nice reduction at one point, however I am passed the final payment date now. I agree with one of the posters about getting everything paid ahead of time, so if I can work it out, I think I will try to buy the package before our cruise and hope there are no "snafus". 9. If one were to purchase the all inclusive beverage package, is there any advantage to buying it pre-cruise? Do they ever offer it at a lower price once onboard? Sent from my iPad using Forums
  10. I definitely agree. I have another cruise booked for September 2017 and am considering January 2018 - but would love to know there will be a new show.
  11. I have previously been on the Breakaway and had the 2 large drawers under the sofa in a mid-ship mini-suite. Next year we will be traveling with our adult daughter so we booked an aft balcony - but I wonder if the drawers are still there if it is used as a pull out bed. Anyone have info?
  12. Not sure how they do it - but we got our assignment maybe a month or 6 weeks before departure. We were assigned a mid-ship balcony mini-suite ( we had a mini-suite guarantee). The location could not have been better. I'm sure it depends how full the ship is.
  13. Maybe they won't enforce it consistently. I sailed RCL this past winter and although it was stated in the policy that bottled water or canned beverages were not allowed, I had read here on Cruise Critic that people were doing it. We gave it a try, and the water was delivered to our cabin - no problems. I'll live in hope! (And monitor the CC boards).
