  1. Welcome to Indy! I will try to help a little and I an sure others will also.

1- There are several places deck chairs can be had as long as you aren't very picky about location. Check out the deck above the pool toward the aft, we have always had good luck there.

2-They will hand out tickets to the ice shows, I think the day before around 3( I could be wrong). The exact time and location will be in your cruise compass.

3- As long as you get to the theater 30 minutes before the show, you won't have any problems getting a seat.

4- On Labadee lounge chairs are pretty easy to get. There are several workers that will get you a lounger and put it where you want, just be sure to give them a tip.

Best tip I have is relax and enjoy!

  2. I appreciate your support, but here's the problem: When my family was trying to contact me from the ship, they kept asking if they reached me. They said no. After several minutes of this, that's when my wife heard the captain say that they can't wait for one person. I think that if they new I was literally a BLOCK away, perhaps they would've waited. But no one knew where I was. :(

Thanks for sticking with those of us who have supported you. Also, give your friend a break, I am sure he feels awful. I can't believe how you stuck with us after some of the crap some of these idiots posted, it showed me how much character you have. You helped more people than you will ever know. God bless you and your family.

  3. We used Park-n-go as well. Their rates were good and it only took about 15 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up to take us back to get our vehicle after the cruise.

One thing to mention. My van had lots and lots of small white dots on it (both on the glass and on the metal). I just thought it to be dirt, but after getting it washed, the dots are still there. It turns out that those dots are PAINT splatters. I do not know where they parked my vehicle for the week I was gone, but wherever it was parked, someone was painting nearby. I have managed to scrap of many of the paint dots with the edge of a credit card, but still have about a hundred more to get off. It has not wrecked the vehicle, but it leaves me questioning where they parked it where white paint would have been splattered all over it (very small fine dots).[/QU

I hate to hear about the paint splatter. If you have any left, the safe way to remove it is a clay bar that you can get at any auto parts store. Just be sure to wash the van before you start and keep the bar lubricated really well.

  4. Unless you are planning on counting cards does it make a difference? I think the average casino uses six (or so my brother tells me).

Not a avid gambler so I am just curious as to what prompted the question.

Thanks for the responses. The reason for the question was different strategy for different number of decks used. Thanks again!

  5. Right in the middle of the shopping area was a little bar known for serving the drunkin monkey, so we sat down and ordered some beers lol. Ok so my mom ordered one, lol and said they were super strong!!!

After a little more shopping, we stumbled into a store and of course my wife said she just had to have a new ring........yea!!! Um I guess next time I need to come prepared to spend like 6k on a ring lol, it wasn't happening this trip though lol.

After we left the massive rock at the store for someone else to buy lol, we headed back to the ship!! Maybe next time we might do a tour or excursion, the shopping was ok, your usual touristy type stuff. The weather couldn't have been better, a nice little breeze and not too hot at all!!!!

You are right, it was amazing watching the precision of everyone at sail away. We also love to watch the ship dock, so gentle you can't feel it when you stop. Thanks for the review, it is bringing back great memories!
