We're trying to decide how much NOK to exchange, I hate having too much leftover. Did you find any issues using credit cards?

Just a heads up...NCL is offering the $250 cruise first again! Yay!
Are cruise first certificates transferable? I'd like to buy one as a gift .

Anita, that is basically what we do. But, we are casino folks. We will visit casino with or without offers because we like it but I would never recommend that anyone gamble with the expectation of free cruise offers. Sometimes we lose our money.

In NOLA last month B2B were assembled in restaurant and Custom officers came onboard to process us and we were given new ship cards. No escorting off and back. It was great

Thank you, we are just so excited to resume cruising. I am also packing my patience .

We are elites on other lines but this is our first time on Royal. When we purchased our dining package it said they will make our first night reservation. Is there a way to choose the venue? Thank you in advance, we are looking forward to resuming cruising.

Is Radio Beach the name of the free beach?
I have seen numerous comments regarding Beach 360, that the water drops like a cliff 3 feet out?
does anyone know if the free beach has the same issue?
thanks!

Hi all!
I sail in September on the Getaway but have never had a chance to book dining. I called NCL and they said that this happens sometimes and to just "book onboard".
I have specialty dining package for 3 meals and I REALLY want to do Cagney's on my birthday onboard.
Will I be okay? Any suggestions?
Hi, have you downloaded the app? We booked dining reservations using app.

I have really enjoyed your reviews over the years. If you are looking for the next place, what about Hawaii? There is a condo in Maui where the sea turtles hang out in front of the condos (look in the shoreline in the bottom pic). You can swim with them and see all the other fish, too...my favorites being the box fish and puffers. Oh, and my daughter also has a way with animals 🙂
May I ask the name of condo? My daughter loves the turtles.

Great review, any idea what the process is for anyone testing positive? I assume they are transferring to some type of quarantine facility? At their own expense? We're fully vaxed but still nervous about our flight.
Thank You!

Each person in cabin can have one credit card on file, but you can change the card during the cruise. I charge slot play to my Carnival card which charges to whatever credit card is associated to it. I believe there is currently a 3% fee for this with tables but not slots.
it doesn't show as a cash advance, just a normal carnival entertainment charge.

Hey everyone! We're planning to go on our first Elite cruise soon, and was wondering about the charging of casino credit to the card- where it gets charged to the sail and sign. Can you put multiple cards on file? Can you dictate to the casino what card to use? We don't want it to get dinged as a cash advance and we're trying to avoid applying for a line of credit so thought taking a few cards would be a good work-around. Any experience or tips appreciated.
Thanks

I do regular casino cruises on a Carnival but next month will be the first time doing one on Royal Carribean. I usually charge my slot play to room with no fees with Carnival. Will Royal charge the 3% for charging to credit card?
thanks!

We were just there 5 days ago, just as you suspect, it is still pretty bleak but the beaches are beautiful as ever. We spend the day at paradise cove resort on deadmansreef dot com, very inexpensive day. Plus they provided transportation to/from the port.

We were looking for a beach day & were unsure if any were open. We found Paradise Cove Resorts, (Deadman's reef dot com) they offered pickup/dropoff from the port. They are still in process of rebuilding but It was a fantastic day. No cruise crowds, beautiful snorkeling/kayaking & super friendly people. We were glad we were able to support them.

I'm looking for some insight on Broome transportation options. What choices are available to get from the cruise ship drop off point ( I understand its China town) to Cable Beach? Is Uber in the area?

We are doing the 30 day round AUS oct2017, our itinerary states 10am-7pm for Cairns. Is this enough time to book our own snorkeling excursion for the reef or should we stick with the ship tour?

We are cruising on HAL, Akl to Syd. Would it offer best views of coast from balconies on starboard side?

We sent off for OBC last week, it was at lunchtime on the Monday and the OBC for two separate cruises have been received by 10am Tuesday morning.
We use all the email addresses when sending off (we CC the second two).

Is there an email addy for HAL?

We are hoping we will be allowed to drop off our luggage, checkin, then leave for some sightseeing. :D
