I called NCL today to inquire as to why online reservations for Cagney's and Shoguns was not showing up on our upcoming cruise on the Spirit.

The NCL rep said there has been changes and NCL is no longer accepting online reservations for either of those two specialty restaurants and they could only be made onboard. In short, they are not full or the allotment for online filled already, they were never listed on our cruise dates.

I inquired as to why NCL would want people standing in long lines the first day of the cruise rather than allowing the allotment to fill online, and she said that the mandate from NCL stands until such time the management changes it back, if they do.

Has anyone else called and been given the same information?

Our other online choices showed up about a week ago, but Cagney's and Shoguns were not among them, so this is why I called to find out if they were full already, but the rep advised no one has nor will be able to make them online unless NCL changes their current policy.

We too are in Sky Suites (SS1) on an upcoming Century cruise. Why on earth would the Century Suites, which are basically Concierge Class Aft Cabins, awarded such a luxury when the much more expensive and "VIP-ish" Sky Suites are afforded nothing? This makes absolutely no sense.

We are in a sky suite on the Century and I confirmed with Celebrity that they are indeed included for the VIP lounge for boarding at the pier since they are priorty, which might be what WendyJam76 was referring to. She and her mother are on our cruise April 12th.

I see you are from LR... I lived 10 years in Mountian Home before moving to AZ 2 years ago. I taught for ASU at the MH campus.... Wished I was back there many days...:)

I posted this on another thread until I found this one... but I need a Triumph and Spirit pin if anyone has one to sell me. I could also use a Paradise pin, but I know that one is hard to find. At any rate, I only collect the ones from cruises I have been on. Thanks.
