  1. Very pretty dress and I like the colors but I don't see blue

in it anywhere. In my opinion, the tan shoes would go much

    better:)

That's what I was thinking/wondering. I know green and blue go together but if they would stick out like a sore thumb. I'm packing both shoes, so I guess I will have to decide that night. LOL

I wish there was a little bit of blue in there, but there isn't.

  2. Just bought a new Canon D2i and went out the first night I got it, just to see how well it would do in a night time setting. Here I didnt even adjust any settings. It was on the preset night time setting. Just turned the camera on and clicked away.

This wreath was on a front door with just a porch light on. I am amazed at how well it shows up. Think I will be VERY happy with this camera.

Cant wait to use it in 6 days on my cruise!!

  3. We are sailing on the Carnival Glory in Feb and we are thinking about doing snuba. has any one done it? Do you think a 8 y/o could do it (she is a good swimmer). I like to do ship trips and it is offered in St Thomas and grand turk. Any opinion on either place?

    Thanks

I have SNUBAed in Grand Cayman, and its more than being a good swimmer. I had a hard time staying down in the water. Had to keep coming up to the surface and get more weights put on me. Make sure she is weighted down good.

Also, she will need to be able to keep her line tangle free.

It is very hard to take pictures if she is wanting to do that. Focusing on breathing, keeping tangle free, etc... is hard to do.

  4. In two weeks I am wearing a khaki skirt and a white crochet sweater top with brown sandals.

Usually I will wear capris or a skirt. This time, not even packing a pair of capris, since we are actually driving to the port instead of flying. I am bringing way more shoes and clothes than I usually do. LOL

  5. Great info for the first time cruiser. But, like you say, VERY doable to lower that cost down. Me personally, don't spend or do as much as your list. It is definitely individualized. Still giving the cruiser some much needed info as to what could be an added cost. When they think "all inclusive" and it's not, it's a shocker!!

  6. Hey, stop it now -- you are freaking me out! I have been to Aruba (and St. Thomas, too) and they did not look like that! Were you and Roadtripster perhaps on the Twilight Zone cruise? :p

LOL. That is a good pic too. That I know of, I wasn't in the Twilight Zone unless its when I had one too many Miami Vices!! LOL ;)

  7. What color is the dress? It looks like champagne, but not sure.

These look like they would be gorgeous ....LOVE ZAPPO

Love those shoes. The color is actually pretty close to the photo. It is like a darker champagne color, so I dont think a neutral or cream color will work. I am lucky to be able to wear just about any color. I have a natural tan color all year long, so most things work. I'll keep looking for shoes. LOL

  8. Passing this link on to my friend. She is having a terrible time finding dresses that aren't so expensive. It is her first cruise and she really doesn't want to soak a bunch of money into dresses she thinks she might not wear again for some time. She is very large chested and some what shorter. Hoping she finds something she likes.

    Thanks OP for the 411!

  9. I've always gotten a pillow and blanket on several different airlines to Europe.

I made a pillow case for my pillow. I find it nasty to use one without a clean pillowcase.

Sometimes I bring my own blanket too, depending on how long of a flight it is.

  10. I have never heard of it so I did some research after reading your post.

I have cruise coming up mid October and I had good luck on other high protein plans. I will be ordering a copy of the book. I wish you could find alist of what is allowed in phase 1 since I will have to wait a few weeks for my book to come.

Good luck & keep posting your results here.

I googled the diet and came up with several different websites that do list the phase foods. I THINK one site was my dukan diet dot com. Not positive though.
