I've done the key west 4 day on victory & destiny. I would NOT recommend it for your trip because its a weekend and tends to be more partiers! I would suggest 5 days on Sunshine or the 5 day victory going to half moon cay.

We did an 8 day out of pt everglades on miracle in february a few years back & i think there was 6 kids on board.....one was mine!! It was awesome!!! However we have experienced some very rude elderly people, so not sure whats worse. Neither will ever ruin my vacation tho!!!

We used MJS & they were awesome. Used them 3 times and wouldn't hesitate to use them next time were down there!!

They put bed between king bed & couch so it was like we had one huge bed for the three of us!!

We has aft balconies on victory deck 8. Our steward was just setting up couch as bed for my 6 ft son, after the 4 day cruise we asked for the trundle for the next 5 day cruise. Basically a roll away twin bed. Much better & way more comfortable, longer too!! The couches r a bit shorter on the older ships, so unless its a small child, i'd opt for the trundle. They fold it up during the day

That was my only complaint on the Elation. You cannot smoke at all until you start moving & then the ONLY place is midship lido starboard side. There are about 15-20 tables there. Nothing aft which is where we like to hang out!! Otherwise LOVED the Elation!!! Have a great time!!

Were on Elation over Easter. Awesome ship!! Never saw any signs of an aging ship. Love the "peacock" walks as you r walking into buffet from pool. We thought it would make an awesome counter top! Anyway we found the secret deck. I think it was deck 9? Go forward on left side hallway. I would sale the Elation again in a heartbeat!!! Missed having a balcony room but what u gonna do? Prices for suites were crazy! Have a great time!!

Awesome review!! My son has been bugging me for years to try that ship. We r currently booked for an 8 day on freedom in an aft wrap for $3100. Cant touch a regular balcony on oasis for that. And ports are crappy in my opinion!! Just cant justify it!!

We bought a book on how to make the towel animals & my son and husband (my second child;), make animals for our steward. . We make sure the book gets packed for every trip!!

We've had 6232 twice on the Legend & once on the Miracle. LOVE the balcony!! Room same as any other balcony room. Never heard any noise from elevators, ever!!! Great choice, enjoy!!

We were in 9200 on the Glory. Loved the room...missed the balcony the first 10 minutes on board!! Views were great, space was great. Forgot to close shades one day, came back to very warm room. Slept every night with shades up! Very cool!! Wouldn't book it again. Been on 11 cruises and never hear our neighbors! This room was terrible!! Had to play our radio constantly! Thin walls perhaps? Or loud family? Either way it didnt ruin our cruise. If you are happy with ov room you will love this one!!!!! Its just not for us!! Happy sailing

I've been to Cozumel twice in the last 2 months 1-10pm & didn't go to Nachi because i thought they closed at 5pm. I saw their ad here on CC about staying open later for certain ships! Awww man was i mad!! Wouldn't hesitate to book it!!

Thanks! Usually we book our cruises very far in advance. This is the first time we've booked and leave in 2 months. Just want to make sure i have everything taken care of. Patience was never one of my strong suits!!:)

We've also stayed at El Cozumeleno 4 yrs ago. I would suggest Nachi Cocum. Parasailing, jet ski, torpedo rides. Food & drinks are always good. Nachi gets my vote for sure!!

I have Nachi booked for the 3rd time in April. Was just notified by Carnival that they switched days with Progresso. I've sent 2 emails to the "reservations" address & haven't gotten a reply! Just hope they aren't booked up that day, i'd be very bummed!! Anyone have a similar situation? How long till they reply & send a new confirmation letter??

Have you considered the Pride out of Tampa?? Tampa is always a reasonable air purchase for us, love Tampa port, Ybor district & Channelside, Pride will be upgraded & tampa ships always seem to be cheaper! Just throwing it out there!! Happy planning!!

The Country Inn is listed in the French Quarter. But u think its a ways away? We arent coming to town until apr 18th. Is mardi gras still going on then?

My plan is to go to Mothers to eat & there is a Cafe du monde right by the river that appears to be somewhat close to hotel & restaurant.

Is there a particular hotel you would recommend??
