I usually ask the person to write their names in a little notebook I bring. I'm sure to mess up some of their names!
I need to do this! I can remember the first name, but I doubt I have the last name spelled correctly.

I look forward to following along , even though we are on the same cruise!
We actually arrived in NYC last night to enjoy a few days pre-cruise.

Where did you get the cable loops? They look like a good idea. I purchased my plastic tag covers about 5 years ago but they did not come with any means of attachment (they do already have the holes for loops or whatever).
Our plastic holders came with wire loops; very secure.

Call me Mister Big Spender, but for a couple of bucks you can get the plastic luggage tag holders from Amazon specifically designed for Celebrity luggage tags. Saves a lot of drama if you drop bags off before parking.
These are wonderful! We’ve used ours for several cruises. They are now filled with the tags for our upcoming Beyond cruise . . . Ready to be attached before we leave our NYC hotel for Bayonne😊

When your e-docs are available, the luggage tags will be the last page of the docs.

Well, having read many if not all of the "live from quarantine" threads on this board (as I'm sure you have as well), I would respectfully disagree. Confinement to one's cabin and the resulting treatment (often mistreatment) is a draconian measure.
A few years ago, DH was diagnosed with flu while on the Solstice in Australia, as were a number of others. Yes, he’d had a flu shot in October of the previous year, and this was March in Australia . . . So the next strain of flu. He was confined to our cabin for the day he was diagnosed until he was cleared after being fever free for 2 nurse visits, which was another couple of days. His card was tagged so that when we attempted to leave the ship in a NZ port before the nurse had removed the tag, all kinds of alarms went off.
The reality is that quarantine is used for many communicable illnesses.

It's a 7-day. Does anyone know what nights would be the chic nights on the Beyond?
Since they are usually on sea days, but never embarkation day or the last night, look at your itinerary andif there are 2 sea days, say day 2 and day 5 or 6, probably those. If there are not 2 sea days, one would probably be on the day with the earliest “all-aboard” time on a port day.

It will show as closed if you look at a time it is not open; however, I have always been able to pull up the menu.
This venue is only open a short time for breakfast and lunch, about 1 1/2 hours for each. It is not always open for lunch on port days.

On the April TA , it wasn’t great, a lot of cold food that should’ve be hot
What a shame! We were never crowded as the ship was at just under 40% capacity.

Honestly? I'm not a big fan of the Oceanview Cafe and the cutbacks, so I can't imagine what I'd think of Carnival!
Last year on the Apex the OVC was amazing! Absolutely no evidence of cutbacks at that time. That is our only experience post-shutdown, but we’ll see again in 2 weeks when we board Beyond.

So now it's the $40.00 per-person "EXTORTION FEE" which is singularly protecting Bermudans from Covid? 😉
While I am not ecstatic to pay $80 for this fee, I basically consider it another port charge. This is not applicable only to cruise passengers, but to EVERYONE entering Bermuda, by ship or air. Even Bermuda residents who have left the country, whether for pleasure or work, are required to pay this fee . . . every time they leave and return to the island.
Personally, we plan to get off and enjoy a nice lunch in Hamilton. . . providing some added income to the restaurant owner who did not have tourist/visitor business for a very long time. Yes, I realize the government will benefit from our limited spending in the island, but so will a few locals.
I also recognize that we are all entitled to our own perceptions and reaction / response to the situation.

Your first picture is a full size cabana for 4 people, yes?
The drinks alone are worth $100 or more.
Hmmm.
I believe the top photo in Jim’s post is the split cabana on Edge.
Here are a couple of photos I took on Apex, identical to Edge. Those on Beyond are basically the same set-up except facing the pool rather than facing toward the ocean.
The full cabana

I just checked. My IPad is barely 1 year old and updated with the most recent release. I just maneuvered through the different sections, from Deck Plans to Excursions to Dining to my calendar and more. Very quick response time. Good luck with yours!

A friend recently had Covid on another line. She was prescribed Paxlovid in the Medical Center; the charge was $800. She is submitting a claim to her insurance, but right now is out the $800

The cabanas on Edge and Apex face the walkway to the Mast Grill and Magic Carpet, Eden on 14. However, I believe on Beyond they are reoriented and face the pool.

It hasn’t yet been mentioned that there is no smoking inside on any Celebrity ship, including the casino. Big plus in my book!

30 power up points = 3 captain club points
Since they said they will sail for 10 nights and receive 30 points, that would seem to be regular points, i.e. 10 nights in balcony @3 points per night, not Power up Points.

It's been 15 years since my last X cruise but we are looking to book one for next fall. Back then, I stumbled across the pastry cart (mornings, and cookies in the afternoons) with the delightful almond croissants. I've had many since but I'm convinced that everything tastes better on a ship!
You must have just missed the introduction of Cafe al Bacio. The first was on So,stick which debuted in 2008. Yes, you’ll usually find the almond croissants in the morning along with muffins, donuts and more. Around lunch, they transition to cookies, cakes, divine little lemon and chocolate tarts and more. All sorts of coffee drinks as well as various hot teas and iced teas. Check out the menu on the app.
It is one of my favorite spots on the ship.

Part of the check-in is the opportunity to select your 30-minute boarding check-in time. You referenced being in a suite; if you are in a suite on Celebrity, you can board at any time once boarding has started.

.I really would rather not lay out the money now..looks like I will be looking at private excursions that I only need deposits for..
I think this was not a good way to handle the situation..the email was so unclear..and since it was their error they maybe could of given a more generous date especially since the cruise is over a year away.
I am very sorry for this inconvenience you and others have experienced, but the reality is if you book any excursions, specialty restaurants, etc on Celebrity and do not have OBC to cover, your credit card would be charged immediately, even if 2 years in the future.

Which ship did you find this?

Good question. Priority embarking and disembarking. Only reason, really.
One of the few true benefits to concierge class to me : on M class ships (Summit is one), the concierge class rooms are about 20-25 sf larger than a standard balcony room.

I called the Bermuda Health Ministry today (Sept 27) to inquire about why the Beyond wasn't on the list. I was told that they would pass this info along to their IT people and that we should wait a few days.
This must be done within 30 days of arrival in Bermuda. Since this cruise will dock in Bermuda on October 26, that would mean the earliest day to complete would be September 28, perhaps the 29th if the arrival date counts as day 1.
