you must wear closed toed shoes asa well. they sent a woman back to her cabin to change. they would not let her go otherwise.

they will hold your cameras for you if you bring them and you cant hide them because they do use the 'wand'

That's a great tip on the rain ponchos. This is an item that most people don't think of UNTIL it's raining.(and then they wont be a dollar either, we paid $10 a piece at Disney) For $1 and the little space that it will take in a suitcase, this will be a must buy item.

 

When I was in the Dollar Tree the other day they were putting out some of their summer Luau type party decorations. It gave me some really good ides for decorating our cabin door. They had a really nice selection of tropical, pink flamingo and tiki type things.

I only have 215 days till I cruise. better start hitting those DT stores!!

some door decorations stick better than others so beware!

This quote is from an early post in this thread...can you really bring wine from each island on board?? I thought it was only allowed at embarkation.

Carnival will take the bottles from each port and hold it for you until the last night. you can not bring them on board

you may want to check with your cruise line first. we did this with a cube of soda in 2009 but heard you cant do this anymore. It may need to be in a suitcase
