How could RCI have handled it better??? This is 100 percent on the couple and specifically the guy who had the seizures. That is one of the biggest problems in the USA these days. Too many people want to blame others instead of taking personal responsibility when something goes wrong.Personal responsibility? I've never heard a TV lawyer commercial with a 1-800 number ever mention that.

I also do NOT need to pay up front. the insurance pays as long as you contact them at the time and they authorise paying for the treatment.
So someone is having a seizure and they should contact the insurance company before being take down to the medical center?🤔

Can't remember if I updated you guys on my fainting episode on the flight to Singapore. To recap I've never fainted before and I had no warning or feeling of being dizzy.
GP said I had to see neurologist and can't drive until given all clear. All blood tests and ecg were good. Consultant neurologist gave me all clear but said GP should refer to cardiologist as could be heart issue so back to square one.
Our driving licencing authority has taken away my licence but I'm hoping I may get it back after all clear from neurologist. 🤞
It's now been three months without my licence and very frustrating as we live in the country and I'm dependant on Gary to take me anywhere.
On the plus side my smart watch says I'm in the top 15% in the country for steps 😁
Many times fainting is a once and done thing and no cause for the incident is ever identified.

Hello from Venice! We are starting our 3rd day here. Our flight from JFK went off very well and we have had a little rain but still have done all we have planned. Yesterday was an excursion to Murano and Burano. Today DH and I are doing the Doges Palace tour. Tomorrow we meet Explorer of the seas in Ravenna! Here are some pictures.
I absolutely love Venice. I will never forget the first time I walked out of the train station and saw the city, love at first sight.
Enjoy Explorer. That ship was our first RCI cruise. I'd like to see some pictures if you are so inclined.

Same, I used to be a diehard survivor fan never missing an episode until a few years ago. I believe i posted about it before here but when every tribal began to be a life lesson on race, equality yada yada i lost interest. entertainment value gone. I hear enough about how terrible the world is on the news which i also quit watching. shame because i loved that show. I will rewatch very old seasons on netflix though 😀
I think Survivor has learned it lesson about bringing race into the mix. If that had continued I would not be watching.

Thanks. I had no idea a mooring line that long was a possibility.

"The depth of the seabed beneath the Soul buoy is around 4,940 metres (16,210 ft)."
Thanks. Now I really have no idea how they keep it in place.

However we have no need for snow shovels.
When they break they are cheap to replace.😄

I'm glad they say it looks good but sorry the boot is heavy. Ugh air problems are no fun and I hope it will be a quick fix. Take care.
If y'all lived in New England you wouldn't even know yet if you had AC problems as there been no need to turn it on.🙂

I wish there was a forum for talking about surgery…recovery…etc. I’d love to find such a thing! Got my soft cast off today and my stitches removed. I think my leg looks like a swollen mess…but I’m told everything looks great. Now I have steri-strips on the incisions…an ace bandage and a boot that must weigh fifty pounds. Boy…and I thought getting about on one leg with the cast was difficult! I’m supposed to sleep wearing the boot. Good thing I’ve had two weeks of trying to learn how to sleep flat on my back with the cast. Called to schedule PT and in two weeks was the earliest appointment. Wish they’d given me the number to call 10 days ago when I had the surgery…
And George just disappeared into the garage to work on the AC. Sigh. We’d had a problem with a clog in the drainage pipe that he’d fixed before my ill fated cruise…turns out he thought he’d fixed it then…fixed it again (differently) when we came home. No idea what today’s issue is…except I’ve had enough for one day…
Part of the issue with your leg (I have no idea about the AC) is when you are in a cast is you get no muscle contraction to help move blood and lymph back up out of the extremity and you get accumulation of fluid. It should start to resolve as you start walking around in the boot. When you sit in a chair, or are lying in bed, it also helps to have the leg elevated so gravity can help move fluid out of the leg too.

Well, that would explain it.

It won't play on my phone either.

I disagree with the reason why those that voted for Kenzie gave her the million. IMO, based on that voting Ben should have been awarded the million for flying under the radar and doing nothing for 25 days. Charlie, well the look tells that story. Moving on. Looking forward to #4several. I'd like to see the game change big time. Survivor is getting way to scripted and way to soft for the players.
I like Maria even less after watching the finale. I suspect Charlie may no longer have much interest in being "Uncle Charlie" to her sons.

The best thing to do for baby animals is to let them be. Deer and bunnies the mothers only come by to feed them so as to not draw predators. If the babies can't be reunited for instance if the mother has been killed then keep the babies in a warm quite area and contact a rehab facility. Feed a baby the wrong formula can make them very ill. If there is no rehab facility then email or call Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge in Navarre Florida and explain what has happened and ask for advice. Most of our babies are kidnapping victims by well meaning people. However, if you find a oppossum under 5" in length they need help. They are not old enough to be on their own and mom won't come back for them. Baby squirrels and baby birds that fall out of a nest and look uninjured can be reunited with mom by making a nest out of a box and some dry leaves or grass and placing up in a tree close to where they fell. Keep an eye out and if not reunited in a day then go to plan B.
P.s. you did the exactly right thing.
I appreciate all you do for animals. So many times their misfortune can be traced back to a human encounter either directly or the result of a parent's encounter with a human.

Got home from our weekly trivia contest last night (we won 😁) and decided that I'd better watch the Survival final before going to bed. Otherwise, I'd need to avoid this place (even though everyone is doing a good job of not giving away the results) and I'd still probably hear the results from somewhere else. Too many people watch the show. I was happy with the winner. It's who I picked to win (along with the person who came in second) several weeks ago.
Q even messed up the jury question session. 🤣 I really don't think he knows what he does or says.
I didn't even like his question. I don't think what people plan to do with the winnings is anyone's business. It has nothing to do with how you played the game.

The best thing would be to reunite the babies with mom. If that is not possible keep them in a warm, quiet place until they can get to a rehabilitator asap.
Can they do ok with nothing to drink over night? Any advice for locating a rehab center?

You can't put it in a carryon? If you don't have one just put it in a plastic bag or something and take it on the plane. Of course you can do whatever you want but I'd never be leaving a block behind.
