It's possible they transferred all remaining cabins over to Move Up, which is a separate entity.  They start honouring bids (sometimes) within 6 weeks of the cruise which has been my experience.

So on Friday, exactly 30 days before sailing, I noticed that all my moveup bids showed 'expired' except for my bid to Royal Suite which still shows 'pending' but grayed out and can't modify.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this means I won it.  I have never eagerly waited for a charge to appear on my credit card as I am now.  LOL

  2. My fault for procrastinating.  I should have upgraded earlier instead of bidding when I knew there were lots of suites still open.  Lesson learned.  I'm good with our Aqua class cabin.  My husband loves Blu and our cabin location is perfect 🙂

It seems strange to me that all the remaining suites would sell out in just a few days but I don't have any insider knowledge on how they do things....maybe it was move up bids or maybe it's a computer error.  Keep checking!

But wouldn't the lower categories open up if it was move up bids?  and do they even award bids this far off from sailing date?

  4. My husband and I are booked on the June 9 sailing of the Solstice to Alaska. We are booked in an Aqua Class cabin.  I made some move up bids for all the suites and on Monday night, there were exactly 2 Royal Suites, 8 Celebrity Suites and 7 Sunset Suites still available.  Today, I asked my TA to price any suite for me as I wanted to just pay for the upgrade outright.   He called me back and informed me that there are no more suites available and the sailing is all sold out.  I looked to check and the sailing is not even coming up when I do a search.

Is it really possible that they sold all those open suites in a couple of days?   It's still 38 days before the cruise...

  5. We booked LPC before the cruise.  Upon embarkation, we went and spoke with the Maitre d' to make sure we booked the right night for lobster menu.  We enjoyed it a lot and the lobster was so delicious!  We will probably book it again on our upcoming Alaska cruise on Solstice, but this time we want the filet mignon so will book accordingly.

  6. My husband and I are booked on an Alaska Cruise on the Solstice in June.  We are wondering if it's worth it to purchase the 2-device Premium wifi package.  How's the signal?  is it worth the $39,99/day price?  My husband dabbles in crypto trading and he needs a reliable signal.  We would hate to pay that much and not be able to get a good connection anyway.  TIA

I did not think Premium Access including priority boarding.  Last I saw it was early access to the terminal but that was it.

Here’s what’s included with Premium Access:

    • Premium Wi-Fi for two devices.
    • Complimentary room service, unlimited (waived delivery fee & gratuities).
    • Early access at the terminal.
    • Priority luggage delivery to staterooms.
    • Welcome lunch in the main dining room served from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm; be sure to select an early boarding time.
    • Priority departure from ship to shore in ports that require tender service.
    • Reserved seating at shows in The Theatre.
    • Express luggage service in the terminal when debarking.

This is what was included when I booked the cruise and purchased celebrity pass later renamed to premium access in november last year:

    Celebrity Pass Includes:

The program’s biggest draws are upgrades to the ship’s premium Wi-Fi for up to two devices per passenger, priority embarkation, priority debarkation at tender ports, an exclusive welcome lunch, waived room service fees, and reserved seating during formal Evening Chic nights.

  8. Today, we boarded the Equinox.  Arrived at the port at 10:51am.  No Premium Access signs at the bag drop off so I asked around and nobody seems to know what I was talking about so just left our bags with one of the porters.  Went into the terminal to check-in and no signs anywhere, nobody at the terminal knew what Premium Access was so we just went ahead and boarded with the general population.  Good thing the line moved fast and we were on board by 11:21.  So no big deal but a little disappointed at the lack of signeage and lack of knowledge at the port. Now waiting to go to the special lunch.

Loved, loved the ship! This was our 3rd and 4th time on the Equinox. We are elite with Celebrity so have sailed quite a bit with her. We found the food to be VERY good in the MDR and we ate most of our breakfasts, some lunches and dinners there, with the exception of the specialty restaurants of which we did all 3, Tuscan Grille, Murano and Petit Chef. The filet mignon in Tuscan was outstanding. The lamb in Murano was equally good and the lobster and show in Petit Chef were also wonderful. We are doing the b2b so will be in Tuscan again tonight. The staff as always is top notch. The ship was spotless. She is going in for her"facelift" in April so am excited to see how she looks after that. Embarkation was only slightly delayed due to a Coast Guard inspection. The staff in the Martini bar always put on a great show and I have a couple of new favorite martinis. I already miss some of the wonderful people we met last week. I hope our new shipmates are equally as nice.

we will be on the Equinox next month can. you tell me which day  the lobster is served at Le Petit Chef?  Thanks

  10. My husband and I are cruising on the Equinox in February and looking to book Le Petit Chef.  Are they still serving the lobster and filet mignon set menu, or is that a thing of the past? Can anyone post a recent menu?  Thanks!

  11. New to Celebrity.  Just booked an Aqua Class room on the Equinox for the 2/24/24 sailing.  On the room details screen it says " Drinks, Wi-fi and Tips included"  but on my Add Ons, "prepaid gratuities" is showing meaning I can add it on.  If tips are included, why do I need to add prepaid gratuities?  Is there a difference between tips and gratuities?  TIA

I can only speak for the cruises I've been on, but I have to be able to work remotely and have bought streaming internet on every cruise.  I've never had to purchase it for everyone in the room.  We've been able to use any number of devices as long as we used one at a time.  Between laptops, tablets, and phones, we have connected six devices (one at a time).  The internet package we purchase is assigned to passenger #1, but either can use it.  We booked our cruise before the changes, but I'm attaching a screenshot showing the prices are $87.50 for Social Media WiFi and $119.93 for Unlimited Premium Internet with Streaming for our 7-day cruise in April.

I've been trying to upgrade to the unlimited premium wi-fi (with streaming) for $119.93 since this weekend for our March 27 Bliss Cruise and it just won't go through.  Any ideas why?
