I can only speak for the cruises I've been on, but I have to be able to work remotely and have bought streaming internet on every cruise.  I've never had to purchase it for everyone in the room.  We've been able to use any number of devices as long as we used one at a time.  Between laptops, tablets, and phones, we have connected six devices (one at a time).  The internet package we purchase is assigned to passenger #1, but either can use it.  We booked our cruise before the changes, but I'm attaching a screenshot showing the prices are $87.50 for Social Media WiFi and $119.93 for Unlimited Premium Internet with Streaming for our 7-day cruise in April.

I've been trying to upgrade to the unlimited premium wi-fi (with streaming) for $119.93 since this weekend for our March 27 Bliss Cruise and it just won't go through.  Any ideas why?

I am due to cruise with NCL in July, my daughter turns 12 exactly 7 days before we sail. NCL have told me that she must be double vaccinated 2 weeks before she boards. Where I live children under 12 can only be vaccinated if they have underlying health conditions.  I have no issues with getting her the vaccine but atm I can’t there is no where for me to take her to get it. NCL have told me that unless she is double vaccinated she can’t board! This was not the policy at the time of booking. Does anyone have any advice is there anything I can do?

here is what NCL has on their Sail Safe page:  children 11 and under can sail if unvaccinated unless it is not allowed in the ports you are sailing to?

SAFETY FOR OUR GUESTS AND CREW

Mandatory Vaccination Requirement for all Adults & Crew

    Mandatory Vaccinations Against Covid-19

All guests age twelve and over, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to departure in order to board. While we welcome unvaccinated children ages eleven and under onboard, it is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of any local protocols and/or travel restrictions in place at the visiting destinations at the time of sailing.

*Click here for a list of vaccines accepted to sail aboard our fleet.

You are still able to pay what they were when you booked.

If you waited until you boarded for a cruise after April 1st it would be the higher price.  In the case of your Club Balcony, you are 'saving' $2.50 per day per person by pre-paying now.

We booked in December 2021, so Club Balcony should be $18 pp/pd, right?  So maybe it being a Casinos at Sea booking, they charged me the rate of the original free Oceanview cabin?

It may depend on itinerary but last week we were on local time except for Puerto Vallarta, which was an hour off.  So we set the clocks ahead 1 hr and kept them there until our return.

So were you at Puerto Vallarta from 12pm to 8pm ship time as the itinerary shows?  in which case it is really 1pm to 9pm Puerto Vallarta time?

Hi dalmoradie:  We haven't done this trail personally, but you might want to read more on this website before you plan it out.  quote:  "only recommended for very experienced adventurers."  Lots of personal trail ratings and experiences on the site may give you a better idea about the Canyon hike.

    https://www.alltrails.com/trail/mexico/baja-california/canon-el-salto  380m elevation gain, 7.9 km.

Maybe you want the 'easy' trail that just goes to the waterfall?  84m elevation gain, 3.4 km.

Hope your trip goes well, stay safe!

I have no idea which trail they use with the NCL excursion so I might just look for something else to do.  We certainly do not want to go in over our heads.

    Thanks!

I have a travel router that will connect to the ships wifi as one device, and then I can connect multiple devices to the router.

This is what I believe was being mentioned with a mobile wifi hotspot.

    I highly recommend it.

can you tell me which device you use to do this?  Thanks

  7. Which ship?  I've been on a Haven 2-Bedroom on the Pearl and the Getaway.  The 2nd Bedroom on both ships had a couch that turns into a double bed.  There is also a couch in the living room that also turns into a bed.  I have also seen some ships that had bunkbeds in the 2nd bedroom, so I guess it depends on the ship

  8. This sounds very similar to when my mother-in-law fell and broke her hip in the casino on Getaway in 2018 on the 2nd day of a 7-day cruise.  Her and my sis-in-law were off-loaded in Belize.  They were told an NCL rep will handle everything. They were put on an ambulance and they never heard from NCL again.  My sis in law (who does not speak spanish) had to arrange for a medivac to fly them back to Florida.  That was the worst nightmare for both of them.  Luckily, my MIL had great health insurance that covered all the expenses.
