1. Under my signature, you can see the lines I have been on. Celebrity’s overall food selection, quality, preparation and presentation, for the most part, are slightly better than most of the other lines we have cruised on.

In Celebrity's main dining room, red meat dishes were quite good as were the vegetables. I was especially pleased with the variety of vegetables offered. The Celebrity salads were very nice, and we particularly fell in love with the Goombay Dressing. We need to find the recipe since it is quite habit forming. We also found the appetizers to be quite good. Our major disappoints were in the soup and dessert courses. For the most part, the soups tasted okay, but they were very thin almost watery.

Celebrity's SS United States Restaurant (on the Infinity) was a wonderful dining experience, and should not be missed. The food and service were very good and well worth the $30 up charge. The restaurant itself just feels classy, and it was a pleasure to spend time dining with the harpist playing quietly in the background.

We both ordered the Goat Cheese Soufflé upon the recommendation of friends. Now we consider it a “must order” item, outstanding. We also both ordered the Tenderloin Steak Diane. I don’t think I have ever had a more tender steak. It was also outstanding. I%20US%206.JPGI%20US%208.JPG

The cheese course was a unique experience. Fortunately the waiter was able to help us pick out a good selection.

For dessert, Mike had the delicious Waldorf Pudding; and Carol chose the Michel Roux's Favorite Bite-Size Surprise Desserts.

  2.
Carol, Your photos are amazing!! What great memories they must bring back. Have you ever thought of selling them or display them in a gallery?:)
Wow! What a compliment! Thanks. No, we take them strictly for pleasure. If you like them that much, you would probably enjoy our website. Our most recent review has 275 pictures in it, and at a higher resolution than these.

Mike takes most of the really great ones. He decided to make it his hobby, so he has the lens, etc. I love to take pictures, but I'm not as serious about it as he is. :D

  3.
ITA, all the photos are so beautiful I can't pick a favorite. Love the sunflowers and the Farm house in Tuscany. How can I choose a favorite when they are all amazing!! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing with us.:D :D :D
The sunflowers were so amazing! It was one of those little things that happen that you remember for the rest of your life --- a very special moment in time. If we had not been on a private tour, we would not have been able to stop to take pictures. Mike also took one of me standing in the field surrounded by the sunflowers. Now, everytime we see a sunflower, we just look at each other and smile.
  4. Thanks amarillocruisecat. I hope you enjoy the site. As I said before, most of the reviews have links at the end to the albums. The land tours of Greece and Italy at the bottom of the home page were some of our earlier reviews. Those pictures are scanned, as they were before Mike got his first digital camera in 2001. He got it right before we went on the Baltic cruise.

    Enjoy,
  5. My husband takes most of the "great" pictures with his Canon Rebel XT. I was lucky enough to get the Santorini shot with my little point and shoot.

With his new wide angle lens, Mike took this one of the Freedom's dining room.

On our website, all of our reviews are chocked full of pictures. In addition, at the end of each review is a link to an EasyShare album of more pics. For example, our recent Freedom of the Seas review has 275 pictures within the review and the album has 476 pictures. So ---- have fun and enjoy at http://www.thepreismans.com !
